Katarzyna Werner (born 23 November 1976) is a Polish journalist and television presenter. She presented the news on TVN24 morning show You Get Up and You Know and also sometimes served as guest host of the whole show.

Biography

Werner studied politology on Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. From 1999 to 2008 she worked in TVP Poznań, where she served as reporter of Telescope. In 2002 she appeared on a television series Lokatorzy . From 2004 to 2008 she presented morning, noon and afternoon editions of TVP1 newscast Wiadomości . Since 6 November 2008 she worked for TVN24, where she presented the news on morning show You Get Up and You Know and sometimes served as guest host of the whole show. [1] She lectured journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. After her television career she moved to Zanzibar.

Milionerzy (Millionaires) is a Polish game show based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The show is hosted by Hubert Urbański. The main goal of the game is to win 1 million Polish zloty (€240,000) by answering twelve multiple-choice questions correctly. In previous editions, there were three or four lifelines - fifty fifty, ask the audience and ask the expert, the experts were: Bartosz Węglarczyk, Michał Ogórek, Szymon Hołownia, Dorota Wellman and Jan Wróbel; in the previous season - Andrzej Fabianowski, Piotr Gąsowski and Kazimiera Szczuka. Now, the executive producer of programme is Intergalactic. Since 2008, when a contestant gets the second question correct, he or she will leave with 1,000 zł. When a contestant gets the seventh question correct, he or she will leave with 40,000 zł.

You Can Dance: Po prostu tańcz! is a televised Polish dance competition with a format based on the American show So You Think You Can Dance. Dancers compete to win PLN 100,000, and a 3-month scholarship in dance school Broadway Dance Center and International Dance Academy in Los Angeles from season 7 on. Poranek TVN24, since 2009 known as Wstajesz i Wiesz, is a Polish morning news show broadcast on TVN24. It was first aired on 10 August 2001 and since 6 January 2007 it airs also at weekends. The programme is currently presented by Jarosław Kuźniar, who hosts it from Monday to Thursday and Marcin Żebrowski who is on air from Friday to Sunday. The fifth series of Mam talent! began airing on TVN on 1 September 2012 and ended on 24 November 2012. The series was won by acrobatic duo Delfina & Bartek, with dancing duo Pitzo & Polssky coming second. Acrobat Anna Filipowska came third.

The sixth series of Mam talent! began airing on TVN on 7 September 2013 and ended on 30 November 2013. Marcin Prokop and Szymon Hołownia returned to present the show. Agnieszka Chylińska and Małgorzata Foremniak returned as judges and were joined by Agustin Egurrola. The series was won by Ukrainian sand artist Tetiana Galitsyna, who received PLN 300,000. The runner-up, folk music band Tekla Klebetnica received the second prize, a car funded by sponsor of the series. Dancer Santiago Gil came third.
