Kate Comer is an American actress.
Comer grew up in Sarasota, Florida, where she was involved with community theatre. As a teenager, she became obsessed with movies such as Trainspotting , Donnie Darko and Pretty in Pink . She was also inspired by African-American characters like Angela Moore from Boy Meets World . [1] She studied at the Howey Acting Studio[ where? ] which she credits as having "allowed and encouraged [her] to be [herself] 100%". [2] She joined the cast of New Warriors as the character Debrii on Freeform. [3] The show was dropped by Freeform before being cancelled. [4] Despite this, Comer maintains a close friendship with her cast mates. [5]

The New Warriors is a fictional superhero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They traditionally consisted of teenage and young adult heroes, and were often seen to serve as a junior counterpart to The Avengers in much the same way that the New Mutants/X-Force did with the X-Men. They made a cameo appearance in The Mighty Thor #411 and made their full debut in The Mighty Thor #412. Over the years, the New Warriors, in their various incarnations, have been featured in five different volumes of the title The New Warriors.
