Kathleen C. Moore is an American educator and politician.
Moore was a retired kindergarten teacher who lived in Lincoln Park in Chicago, Illinois. In 2010, Moore was appointed to the Illinois House of Representatives by the 11th Legislative District Democratic Committee succeeding John Fritchey who resigned early when he was elected to the Cook County Board of Commissioners. Moore served from December 29, 2010, until January 11, 2011. Ann Williams was elected to the seat, in the November 2010 Illinois general election. Williams was then sworn in, on January 12, 2011, and took the seat. [1] [2]

John Mondy Shimkus is an American politician who served as the U.S. representative for Illinois's 15th congressional district from 1997 to 2021.
The Illinois House of Representatives is the lower house of the Illinois General Assembly. The body was created by the first Illinois Constitution adopted in 1818. The House under the current constitution as amended in 1980 consists of 118 representatives elected from individual legislative districts for two-year terms with no limits; redistricted every 10 years, based on the 2010 U.S. census each representative represents approximately 108,734 people.
The Democratic Party of Illinois is the affiliate of the Democratic Party in the U.S. state of Illinois. It is the oldest extant state party in Illinois and one of just two recognized parties in the state, along with the Republican Party.

Ann M. Williams is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives who has represented the 11th District since 2011. The district includes the Chicago neighborhoods of West Lakeview, Roscoe Village and North Center, as well as parts of Lincoln Park and Lincoln Square.
