Katie Roe Carr is a British television personality. She is mostly known for her appearances and performances in Channel 4 documentary Date My Mum and in the shows The Circle [1] [2] and Lorraine. [3] [4]

Biography and career

Katie is from Hampshire, England. She is known to run a tanning salon from 2005 and an online hair accessory store named Honey Berri. [3] [5] [6] Katie being a single mother of four children, first appeared on Channel 4's documentary Date My Mum in the year 2016 where her sons Jay and Harry arranged a date for Katie Roe Carr in the quest to find love. [7] In 2019 she appeared in Channel 4 show, The Circle while performing as a catfish as her son Jay. [8] [9] [10] In the same year she also appeared on the Lorraine on ITV. [11] [12]

Celebrity Big Brother 12 was the twelfth series of the British reality television series Celebrity Big Brother. It launched on 22 August 2013, three days after the fourteenth regular series final, in two parts. The series ended after 23 days on 13 September 2013, with Charlotte Crosby being voted the winner of the series by the public. It continued to air on Channel 5 as part of a two-year contract with Endemol, which secured the show until 2014. It was the fifth celebrity series to air on Channel 5 and the eighth series of Big Brother to air on the broadcaster overall since they acquired the show.

Ex on the Beach is a British reality television series that is broadcast on MTV. The series was first announced in February 2014, and premiered on 22 April 2014. <i>Celebs Go Dating</i> British dating reality series

Celebs Go Dating is a British dating reality series. It began broadcasting on 29 August 2016 on E4, with the first series having 15 episodes. Paul Carrick Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn currently appear as the dating agents, with Tom Read Wilson as a client coordinator. Rob Beckett narrates the series. Following the conclusion of the eighth series, two special editions of Celebs Go Dating were commissioned due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on television: Celebs Go Virtual Dating and Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion. The series has since resumed its regular format.

The eleventh series of Dancing on Ice debuted on 6 January 2019 on ITV. Filming took place in the purpose-built studio at Bovingdon Airfield. An announcement was made on 11 March 2018, during the series ten finale, that the show had been recommissioned for another series.

<i>The Circle</i> (British TV series) British reality show

The Circle, sometimes called The Circle UK, is a British reality television game show and the original version of The Circle franchise. Produced by Studio Lambert and Motion Content Group and airing on Channel 4, the show bills itself as a game based around social media, with the concept that "anyone can be anyone in The Circle". Throughout the show, contestants live in the same apartment building but are never allowed to meet. The show is narrated by Sophie Willan, whilst the first and last episode of the first series were hosted by Maya Jama and Alice Levine. The show has been compared to Big Brother and Catfish in format, as well as Black Mirror episode "Nosedive" with the concept of having to rate other people.

The twenty-fourth series of the British reality television programme The Only Way Is Essex began airing on 17 March 2019 with a special episode as the cast visited Thailand. Ahead of the series, it was announced that a large number of cast members had quit the series or had been axed from the show. These include Adam Oukhello, Chloe Lewis, Chris and Jon Clark, Dean Ralph, James Argent, Jordan Wright and Myles Barnett. Original cast member Lauren Pope also quit the show before the launch, despite appearing in promo images for the new series. The new cast members replacing them were Chloe and Clare Brockett, Chloe Ross, Ella Wise, Harry Lee, Jayden Beales, Joey Turner, Kelsey Stratford and Tom McDonnell. Despite announcements that Amber Turner and Gemma Collins would not be returning for this series, they both made appearances. Former cast members and Love Island winners Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey also made a brief appearance during this series.

<i>The Circle</i> (American TV series) American reality television series

The Circle is an American reality competition series, produced by Studio Lambert and Motion Content Group, that first aired on Netflix in January 2020. It is based on the original British TV series of the same name. Alongside the American version of The Circle, Netflix also launched different versions in France and Brazil, as part of a partnership between Netflix and All3Media. The series bills itself as a game based around social media, with the concept that "anyone can be anyone in The Circle." It has been compared to Big Brother and Catfish in format, as well as Black Mirror episode "Nosedive" with the concept of ratings.

Gothy Kendoll is the stage name of Samuel David Handley, a drag queen, DJ and OnlyFans creator from Leicester. He is best known for his appearances on the first series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, the first series of the MTV's Celeb Ex in the City, and the upcoming second series of RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World. He released a single "Switch" in 2021.

The twelfth series of Dancing on Ice debuted on ITV on 5 January 2020. During the finale of the eleventh series, it was announced that Dancing on Ice had been renewed for another series. The series is once again filmed in the purpose-built studio at Bovingdon Airfield.

<i>The Masked Singer</i> (British TV series) British television series

The Masked Singer is a British reality singing competition television series that premiered on ITV on 4 January 2020. It is based on the Masked Singer franchise which originated from the South Korean version of the show King of Mask Singer. In February 2022, the show was recommissioned for a fourth and fifth series. The show won an International Emmy for Best Non-Scripted Entertainment in 2021.

<i>Kylies Secret Night</i> British TV series or programme

Kylie's Secret Night is a British Christmas television special featuring Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue. It was produced by BBC Studios and was hosted by comedian Alan Carr. The show was created as a way of thanks from Minogue to her fans, filmed in front of an audience who believed they had been invited to a "Kylie-themed fan extravaganza" but were surprised with an evening with her.

The sixth series of Love Island began broadcasting on 12 January 2020, on ITV2. The series was announced on 24 July 2019, when it was confirmed that two seasons would air in 2020, and this is also the first winter edition of the seasons. Unlike the summer edition, the luxury villa is located in Cape Town. This series is also the first to be hosted by Laura Whitmore, who has taken over from Caroline Flack. The series is narrated by Iain Stirling.

The seventh series of Love Island began broadcasting on 28 June 2021 and was hosted by Laura Whitmore on ITV2. Iain Stirling returned to narrate the series. The series was originally planned to air in the summer of 2020, but was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The second series of the British version of The Masked Singer premiered on ITV on 26 December 2020, following a "The Story So Far" recap episode which aired on 19 December, and concluded on 13 February 2021. The series was won by singer Joss Stone as "Sausage", with singer Ne-Yo finishing second as "Badger", and singer Aston Merrygold placing third as "Robin".

The third and final series of The Circle began airing on Channel 4 on 16 March 2021, hosted by Emma Willis, and concluded on 9 April 2021 following twenty-one episodes. The series premiered after the conclusion of The Celebrity Circle. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the series was pre-recorded from 13 September 2020 to 6 October 2020.

Chloe Brockett is an English television personality. After moving to Chafford Hundred, Essex, at a young age, she began acting with various appearances in television advertisements. Whilst working as a hairdresser, she was cast in the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex in 2019. As well as appearing on the series, she has also made appearances on Dinner Date and Celebs Go Dating, as well as owning two businesses.
