Stop motion is an animated-film making technique in which objects are physically manipulated in small increments between individually photographed frames so that they will appear to exhibit independent motion when the series of frames is played back as a fast sequence. Dolls with movable joints or clay figures are often used in stop motion for their ease of repositioning. Stop-motion animation using plasticine figures is called clay animation or "clay-mation". Not all stop motion, however, requires figures or models: stop-motion films can also be made using humans, household appliances, and other objects, usually for comedic effect. Stop motion using humans is sometimes referred to as pixilation or pixilate animation.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force is an American animated television series created by Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro for Cartoon Network's late night programming block, Adult Swim. It is about the surreal adventures and antics of three anthropomorphic fast food items: Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad, who live together as relatives and frequently interact with their human next-door neighbor, Carl Brutananadilewski.
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is a 1984 Japanese animated epic science fantasy adventure film adapted and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, based on his 1982 manga of the same name. It was animated by Topcraft for Tokuma Shoten and Hakuhodo, and distributed by the Toei Company. Joe Hisaishi, in his first collaboration with Miyazaki, composed the film's score. The film stars the voices of Sumi Shimamoto, Goro Naya, Yoji Matsuda, Yoshiko Sakakibara and Iemasa Kayumi. Taking place in a future post-apocalyptic world, the film tells the story of Nausicaä (Shimamoto), the young princess of the Valley of the Wind. She becomes embroiled in a struggle with Tolmekia, a kingdom that tries to use an ancient weapon to eradicate a jungle of mutant giant insects.
Courage the Cowardly Dog is an American animated horror comedy television series created by John R. Dilworth for Cartoon Network and the eighth of the Cartoon Cartoons. It was produced by Dilworth's own animation studio, Stretch Films, in association with Cartoon Network Studios. The title character is a pink, anthropomorphic dog who lives with an elderly couple in the middle of Nowhere. In each episode, the trio are thrown into bizarre and frequently disturbing misadventures, often involving the paranormal or supernatural. The series is known for its dark, surreal humor and atmosphere.
Meatwad is a fictional character in the Adult Swim animated television series Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Meatwad is a simple-minded, naïve, short attention-spanned, giant, anthropomorphic ball of ground meat, who is often tricked, manipulated, and bullied by various villains or his roommate Master Shake. Meatwad has the ability to shape shift and can multiply when cut into pieces. Meatwad was created and designed by series creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro, and Willis also provided his voice.
The Brak Show is an American adult animated sitcom that aired on Adult Swim. The Brak Show was created by Andy Merrill, Jim Fortier, and Pete Smith, serving as a spin-off of the animated television series, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, to which the show's creators originally wrote for, and featured recurring characters from Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet. Both programs used stock footage from the Hanna-Barbera cartoon Space Ghost. The protagonist is Brak, voiced by Andy Merrill, who developed a quirky persona for the character.
Manimal is an American action–adventure series that ran from September 30 to December 17, 1983, on NBC. The show centers on the character Dr. Jonathan Chase, a shape-shifting man who can turn himself into any animal he chooses. He uses this ability to help the police solve crimes.

Emily Amadhia Albee is the creator of Kaze, Ghost Warrior, which she made when she was credited as Timothy Albee. Amadhia needed six months to complete the 22 minute short film, using two computers. She also published a book on the process she used.
P Productions is a Japanese production company, which has produced anime and tokusatsu television programs, with minor work in motion pictures. It was founded in 1960 by the late TV producer Tomio Sagisu. The company exists today as a stockholder. Perhaps their most famous creations are Osamu Tezuka's Ambassador Magma, one of the first tokusatsu series dubbed into English and aired in the United States, and the three series that make up the unique Lion-Maru franchise, featuring anthropomorphic lion samurai battling evil in feudal Japan. Most of P Productions' film and television projects, like Ambassador Magma for example, features animation sequences created with matte paintings by Yoshio Watanabe with Tomio Sagisu himself, and termed in Japanese as "composited drawings" or "drawing synthesis".
The Moxy Show is an American animated anthology television series produced by Turner Production for Cartoon Network. The show ran on December 5, 1993, originally as The Moxy Pirate Show, and consisted of classic cartoons divided by 3-D animated interstitials featuring Moxy and Flea, respectively a dog and a flea. The show ran on Cartoon Network from December 5, 1993 until 1995, where its finale was the sole episode for The Moxy & Flea Show. Reruns lasted until 2000. It is considered the first original series on Cartoon Network, but due to the production style Space Ghost Coast to Coast is considered Cartoon Network's first fully produced series.
Pierre De Celles is a Canadian animator, best known for directing 1988's Pound Puppies and the Legend of Big Paw. He was also the Supervising Director for the Spiral Zone animated series. In the 1990s, he did Ren Hoek's screaming and cackling in "Big House Blues," the pilot of The Ren and Stimpy Show.
Casper's Scare School is a French–American animated series based on the computer animated film of the same name featuring the Harvey Comics cartoon character Casper the Friendly Ghost. The series aired on Cartoon Network in 2009, and a second season aired in 2012 with a new opening sequence, a new voice cast and a slightly different CGI animation style.
Iron Man: Armored Adventures is a 3D CGI cartoon series loosely based on the Marvel Comics superhero Iron Man. It debuted in the USA on Nicktoons on April 24, 2009, and it aired on Canadian network Teletoon. The series is story edited by showrunner Christopher Yost, who also worked on Wolverine and the X-Men, and numerous other Marvel Animation projects. The television show is not related to the 2007 animated film The Invincible Iron Man; it has a different voice cast, but some story elements are similar and the show uses the same musical score as the film in some instances. It is the first Iron Man television series since Iron Man from 1994–1996, and started airing after the success of the live action Iron Man film.
Trash-O-Madness is a 1992 animated short created by Joe Murray, who, prior to this point, had made several independent animated shorts, as well as several MTV IDs, and it was the pilot episode for what became Nickelodeon's 4th Nicktoon, Rocko's Modern Life. During the series' first season, a new version of the pilot, that was extended for the purposes of including it as a regular episode, was produced. The new version was paired up "The Good, the Bad, and the Wallaby" as the 10th episode to be produced, and aired as the 6th. In addition, that episode featured an extended end credit sequence to accommodate the names of production crew behind "Trash-O-Madness". On February 7, 2012, the original pilot version found its way onto Shout! Factory's season 2 DVD as a special feature. In Rocko's Modern Life: Spunky's Dangerous Day, the second level is named after this episode.

"The Haunting of Amphipolis" is the second episode of the sixth season of the American fantasy television series Xena: Warrior Princess, and the 114th episode overall. The episode was written by Edithe Swenson and Joel Metzger, and directed by Garth Maxwell; it first aired on October 9, 2000. The series, set in Ancient Greece, focuses on Xena, a ruthless warrior seeking redemption for her past actions. Throughout her adventures, she is accompanied by her best friend Gabrielle, who assists her in recognizing and pursuing the greater good.
