Kelli Evon Williams-Malcolm (born June 1978) is an American gospel musician. Her first album, Kelli Williams, was released by Sony Music Entertainment in 1995. The subsequent album, I Get Lifted, was released in 1998 by Word Records in association with Epic Records, and this was a Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums chart. She released, In the Myx, with the Word Records in tandem with Epic Records in 2000.

Early life

Williams-Malcolm was born as Kelli Evon Williams, [1] in June 1978, [2] [3] to father, Eddie, and mother, Carolyn, in Nashville, Tennessee. [4] She sang professionally at ten years old. [5] In 1993, Williams-Malcolm appeared on Star Search , which she won. [5]

Music career

Her music recording career commenced in 1995, with the album, Kelli Williams, and it was released by Sony Music Entertainment. [6] The second album, I Get Lifted, was released on February 17, 1998 by Word Records and Epic Records, [6] and this was her Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums chart at No. 35. [7] She released, In the Myx, on July 4, 2000 with Word Records and Epic Records. [6]

Personal life

Williams-Malcolm is married to Royce Edward Malcolm. [8] They reside in Portland, Tennessee [9] with their son, Bentley Edward Malcolm, who was born May 2003. [10]

This will lead into the release of Darlene McCoy later on that year. This album was her breakthrough release on the Billboard magazine charts, which it placed on the Gospel Albums chart. She is the First African American Female to host a nightly syndicated radio show, as she is the host of Nightly Spirit under Reach Media Inc.

Edletha Lorraine McClendon, who goes by the stage name Lisa McClendon, is an American Jazz gospel Soul artist. She started her music career, in 2002, with the release of My Diary, Your Life by Shabach Entertainment. Her second album, Soul Music, released in 2003 by Epic Records and Integrity Gospel. This would be her Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums chart. The third album, Live from the House of Blues, was released in 2006 by Columbia Records alongside Epic Records and Integrity Gospel. Minister Cedric LeVance Ford is an American gospel musician and leader of Worship Unlimited, currently based out of Houston, Texas because he is the music minister at Reflections of Christ Church. His first album, Featuring Visions: A Choral Ministry, was released by Muscle Shoals Records in 2000, and produced by Dorothy Norwood. He released, Created 2 Worship, with Tyscot Records in 2009, and this was a Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums chart at number 34. He was nominated for a NAACP Theatre Award for his role in The Fabric of a Man by David E. Talbert.

Judith Christie McAllister is an American Pentecostal gospel musician, the leader of Never Ending Worship, and she was the President of the International Music Department for the Church of God in Christ from 2009 until 2021. Her first album, Send Judah First, was released by Judah Music Records in 2001. She released, Raise the Praise, with Judah Music Records in 2003. The third album, In His Presence: Live!, was released in 2006, and this was a Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums and two others. Melinda Frances Watts is an American urban contemporary gospel artist and musician. She started her music career, in 2009, with her first studio album, People Get Ready, released by Razor & Tie. This album was her breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine charts.

V3, also known, called, and referred to as V Three, are an African-American all-female sister Christian R&B and urban contemporary gospel music trio, who primarily plays contemporary R&B songs. They come from Atlanta, Georgia, where the group started making music in 2006. The group have released a studio album, V3. This album was their breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine charts.

The McCrary Sisters are an American gospel music quartet from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2010 by sisters Beverly McCrary, Deborah McCrary, Regina McCrary, and Alfreda McCrary.
