Kellococha (possibly from Quechua q'illu yellow, qucha lake, lagoon, [1] "yellow lake"), also spelled Kellococha, Kelloccocha, Quellococha, also Qellococha, Qelloqocha, Q'elloqocha, is a lake in Peru located in the Cusco Region, Urubamba Province, Huaylllabamba District. [2] Kellococha is known for its woods of polylepis [2] which also occur at the neighboring lake named Yanacocha.
Cusco–Collao or Qusqu–Qullaw (Quechua) is a collective term used for Quechua dialects that have aspirated and ejective plosives, apparently borrowed from Aymaran languages. They include Cusco Quechua, Puno Quechua, North Bolivian Quechua, and South Bolivian Quechua. Together with Ayacucho Quechua, which is mutually intelligible, they form the Southern Quechua language.
Southern Quechua, or simply Quechua, is the most widely spoken of the major regional groupings of mutually intelligible dialects within the Quechua language family, with about 6.9 million speakers. It is also the most widely spoken indigenous language in the Americas. The term Southern Quechua refers to the Quechuan varieties spoken in regions of the Andes south of a line roughly east–west between the cities of Huancayo and Huancavelica in central Peru. It includes the Quechua varieties spoken in the regions of Ayacucho, Cusco and Puno in Peru, in much of Bolivia and parts of north-west Argentina. The most widely spoken varieties are Cusco, Ayacucho, Puno (Collao), and South Bolivian.

It is situated at a height of about 4,400 metres (14,436 ft), about 3.67 km long and 1.95 km at its widest point. It has a catchment area of 141 square kilometres (54 sq mi).

Q'umirqucha lies south-east of the mountain Wisk'achani and the larger lake Warusqucha, north-east of the village Q'umir Qucha (Ccomer Cocha).
Comercocha is a lake in Peru located in the Cusco Region, Quispicanchi Province, Ocongate District. Comercocha lies southwest of the mountain Callangate of the Vilcanota mountain range.
Millococha is a lake in Peru located in the Huancavelica Region, Huancavelica Province, Acobambilla District. Millococha lies west of the large lake named Huarmicocha. Near the lake there is also a village named Millococha.
Mancacocha is a lake in Peru located in the Junín Region, Jauja Province, Canchayllo District. It lies east of the lake Llacsacocha, southwest of the lake Chalhuacocha and south of the mountain Chalhuacocha (possibly from Quechua Challwaqucha). Mancacocha is connected with the lake Chaquipaque southeast of it, situated at the foot of the mountain Chaquipaque.
Yanacocha is a lake in Peru located in the Cusco Region, Urubamba Province, Huaylllabamba District. It is about 14 m (46 ft) deep and 240 m (790 ft) long and it is situated at a height of about 3,951 metres (12,963 ft). Yanacocha as well as the nearby lakes named Chaquicocha and Kellococha is known for its woods of polylepis. It is situated high up on the mountain named Chaquicocha.

Yanaqucha is a lake in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru located in the Ancash Region, Huari Province, Chavín de Huantar District. It is situated at a height of about 4,314 metres (14,154 ft), about 800 metres (2,625 ft) long and 280 metres (919 ft) at its widest point. It has a depth of about 12 metres (39 ft). Yanaqucha lies in the Chacpar gorge north-west of Chavín de Huantar belonging to the Huascarán National Park. It supplies the local people with drinking water.
