Kelly Pratt is an arranger and multi-instrumentalist best known for his brass and woodwind work in the bands Beirut, David Byrne & St. Vincent, and Father John Misty. [1] [2]
Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Pratt was a member of Beirut from the band's inception in 2006 until 2012, playing in the live band and on the recordings. [3] [2] He joined Montreal's Arcade Fire on their Neon Bible world tour in 2007–2008, playing trumpet, flugelhorn, euphonium, French horn and flute. Pratt has also been an arranger and musical director for David Byrne & St. Vincent, leading the brass section for the tour promoting their album Love This Giant. [4] He is currently arranger and conductor for Father John Misty.
In addition to the previous bands he has performed and/or recorded with Coldplay, LCD Soundsystem, Passion Pit, James Iha, The Decemberists, The War on Drugs, The Antlers, Lonnie Holley, and Anthony Braxton, amongst others.
Pratt is the singer and chief songwriter of Bright Moments, a Brooklyn-based indie rock band. Their debut album Natives was released February 21, 2012 on Luaka Bop. [1] [5]

Here Lies Love is a concept album and rock musical made in collaboration between David Byrne and Fatboy Slim, about the life of the former First Lady of the Philippines Imelda Marcos along with the woman who raised her—Estrella Cumpas—and follows Marcos until she and her family were forced to leave the Philippines. Love This Giant is a studio album made in collaboration between musicians David Byrne and St. Vincent, released on 4AD and Todo Mundo on September 10, 2012, in the United Kingdom and the following day in the United States. Marking Byrne's ninth studio album overall and Clark's fourth, Byrne and Clark began working together in late 2009, using a writing and promotion process that Byrne had previously used on his 2008 collaboration with Brian Eno Everything That Happens Will Happen Today. The duo had previously played together live at an Actor Tour concert, and on the album Here Lies Love. The performers enlisted a variety of brass musicians to augment their songwriting and toured over the following year to promote the album.

The Love This Giant Tour was a joint tour by American musicians David Byrne and St. Vincent. It started on 15 September 2012 in Minneapolis, United States, and ended on 12 September 2013 in Florence, Italy, after 74 concerts on 14 countries and 3 continents. The tour was officially announced along with Love This Giant, the album it promoted, on 14 June 2012. On the stage, they were accompanied by a backing band consisting of eight brass players, a keyboardist and a drummer. The performers engaged in complex choreography onstage while performing.
