Jacqueline Joyner-Kersee is an American retired track and field athlete, ranked among the all-time greatest athletes in the heptathlon as well as long jump. She won three gold, one silver, and two bronze Olympic medals, in those two events at four different Olympic Games. Sports Illustrated for Women magazine voted Joyner-Kersee the Greatest Female Athlete of All-Time. She is on the Board of Directors for USA Track & Field (USATF), the national governing body of the sport.
Denise Lewis, is a British female sports presenter and former track and field athlete, who specialised in the heptathlon. Gerda Weissensteiner OMRI is an Italian luger and bobsleigh pilot who competed from the late 1980s to 2006. Competing in six Winter Olympics, she won the gold medal in the women's singles luge event at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, and together with Jennifer Isacco she won the bronze in Turin in the two-woman bobsleigh at the 2006 Winter Olympics. She was the first Italian sportsperson to win Olympic medals in two disciplines.
Joanne Marie Pavey MBE is a British long-distance runner and a World, European and Commonwealth medallist. She won the 10,000 m gold medal at the 2014 European Championships in Zürich, ten months after giving birth to her second child, to become the oldest female European champion in history at the age of 40 years and 325 days. She is coached by her husband and manager Gavin Pavey, with whom she has two children.
Sandra Forgues, formerly known as Wilfrid Forgues, is a French slalom canoeist who competed as a male athlete from the late 1980s to the early 2000s (decade). In 2018, Forgues revealed publicly her identity as a trans woman.
Jennifer Brenda "Jenny" Meadows is a British athlete. Her main event is the 800 m, although she previously competed over the 400 m. Meadows also had some international success as part of the Great Britain 4 x 400 metres relay squad.

Hannah England is a British middle-distance running athlete who specialises in the 800 metres, 1500 metres and mile run. England is one of only five British women in history to have run under two minutes for 800 m and nine minutes for 3000 m, the others being Christina Boxer, Kirsty Wade, Jessica Judd and Laura Muir. She announced her retirement from athletics on 14 January 2020 but plans to continue in her role as a national treasure.

Paula Dunn, is an English former sprinter who competed in the 100 metres, 200 metres and 4 x 100 metres relay. She represented Great Britain in all three events at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. She is a five-time Commonwealth Games medallist, including winning silver (1986) and bronze (1994) in the 100 metres. During the 1990s, she competed as Paula Thomas. Her personal bests of 11.15 secs in the 100 metres and 22.69 secs in the 200 metres, were the fastest times run by a British female sprinter during the 1990s.
Elissa Rebecca "Ellie" Downie is an artistic gymnast who represents Great Britain. She is the All-around 2017 European gymnastics champion, the first gymnast to win a major all-around title for Great Britain.
Ewa Nikola Swoboda is a Polish track and field sprinter who competes in the short sprints. She holds the world junior record of 7.07 seconds in the 60 metres. She was a 100 metres finalist at the World Youth Championships in Athletics, World Junior Championships in Athletics and Summer Youth Olympics. She was a 60 m finalist in her senior debut at the 2015 European Athletics Indoor Championships.
