Kelvin Jones (born January 30, 1982) is an American former professional soccer player who currently is the head coach of Columbus Crew 2 in MLS Next Pro.
Jones attended Massaponax High School, where he was named the 2000 Virginia High School Player of the Year, and was a member of the Region I ODP and adidas ESP Teams, and played college soccer at Wake Forest University, where he made 61 appearances over four seasons registered four goals and five assists.
Jones turned professional in 2004 when he signed with the Charleston Battery of the USL First Division. Injury limited his time with the Battery to just 12 appearances in two years, and he was waived by the team at the end of the 2005 season. He subsequently signed for the Richmond Kickers and has been with the team ever since, making over 80 appearances in total. [1] He was part of the Richmond teams which won the USL Second Division championships in 2006 and 2009. [2] Jones is one of the founders and player/coach of the semi-pro indoor soccer team the Fredericksburg Generals of the PASL.
In 2017, Jones joined the Columbus Crew SC Academy as a head coach for their U-12 boys team. In September 2020 he was named the Crew SC Academy Director.

The Dayton Dutch Lions are an American soccer team based in Dayton, Ohio, United States. Founded in 2009, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. From 2011 to 2014, the team played in the USL Professional Division. They are the American feeder team for Dutch team FC Twente.
The 2010 Charleston Battery season was the club's seventeenth year of professional soccer. The team played in the USL Second Division (USL-2), the third tier of the American soccer pyramid, having voluntarily self-relegated from the USL First Division at the end of the 2009 season. Charleston played its home games at Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island. The team was coached by Michael Anhaeuser, in his sixth year as head coach, and was assisted by former Battery player Ian Fuller. The Battery finished the regular season in first place with a record of 11–4–5, 38 points, and hosted the USL-2 championship match at Blackbaud Stadium on August 28, 2010. Charleston finished the regular season without a home defeat. The Battery defeated the Richmond Kickers 2–1 to win their third league title. Lamar Neagle led the USL-2 in scoring with 13 league goals and was named the league MVP. Battery manager Mike Anhaeuser was named the league's manager of the year.
