Kelvin Morris (born October 25, 1982) is a former American football linebacker and current free agent. He was signed by the Spokane Shock as a street free agent in 2007. He played college football at West Georgia, arena football for the Utah Blaze and Canadian football for the Calgary Stampeders.
Morris began his college career at Southwest Mississippi Community College, where he played football for two seasons. He signed a letter of intent to join the Clemson Tigers football team in 2002. [1] He appeared as a reserve for the Tigers, and after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament and being declared academically ineligible, he transferred out of Clemson. [2] His final college football season was at the University of West Georgia, where he won the Gulf South Conference Defensive Player of the Year award in 2005. [3]
Morris began his Arena Football League career with the Utah Blaze in 2008. That season, he recorded 51 tackles, 12 broken up passes, and two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown and recovering six fumbles.
In 2010, Morris signed with the Arizona Rattlers. He had 27 tackles and five interceptions.
Kelvin signed with the Chicago Rush for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. In 2013, he signed with the Orlando Predators. On March 13, 2013, Kelvin was traded back to the Chicago Rush.
Morris was assigned to the Jacksonville Sharks in 2004, but was placed on reassignment before the season began.
The Chicago Rush are a professional arena football team based in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 2001, the team qualified for the playoffs 11 out of 12 seasons and won one AFL championship, ArenaBowl XX in 2006. During their history, the Rush won five divisional titles and competed in the AFL Conference Championship six times, including four consecutive appearances from 2004 to 2007. They also had the largest market in the AFL. The team was intended to become members of the third incarnation of the Arena Football League, but due to their collapse and their eight surviving teams jumping to the new Arena Football One, the Rush's membership is on hold. They are the second incarnation of the Chicago Rush team to play Area football. The original team played at the Allstate Arena from 2001 to 2013. They were a member of the Central Division of the National Conference of the AFL.
Erik Meyer is a former professional American football quarterback and current coach. He is the co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, a position he has held since 2024. He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Eastern Washington. He was also a member of the Cologne Centurions, Seattle Seahawks. The Jacksonville Sharks, in their second year of existence, defeated the Arizona Rattlers 73–70 in ArenaBowl XXIV on August 12, 2011 to conclude the playoffs.
The 2011 Arizona Rattlers season was the 20th season for the franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Kevin Guy and played their home games at US Airways Center. In the regular season, the Rattlers won a league-record 16 games, having lost only two, to secure home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. They defeated the Spokane Shock in the conference semifinals before beating the Chicago Rush in the conference championship. In ArenaBowl XXIV however, they fell to the Jacksonville Sharks, giving up a game-winning touchdown with no time left on the clock.
The 2011 Utah Blaze season was the fifth season for the franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Ron James and moved back to EnergySolutions Arena for home games, after playing at Maverik Center in 2010. The Blaze finished the season 9–9, missing the playoffs.

The Arizona Rattlers defeated the Philadelphia Soul by a 48–39 score in ArenaBowl XXVI to conclude the league's playoffs.
The 2013 Arizona Rattlers season was the 22nd season for the franchise Arena Football League, coming off of their victory in ArenaBowl XXV. The team was coached by Kevin Guy and played their home games at the US Airways Center. With a 15–3 record, the Rattlers won their fourth consecutive division title to qualify for the playoffs. The Rattlers successfully defended their championship in ArenaBowl XXVI by once again defeating the Philadelphia Soul by a 48–39 score to win their fourth ArenaBowl championship in franchise history.

The team was coached by Andy Olson and played their home games at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. With a 14–4 record in the regular season, the Shock qualified for the playoffs. However, they were defeated by the Arizona Rattlers in the conference championship game by a 65–57 score.

He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL), following the 2015 NFL draft.
