Kenneth Tautohe Going (18 February 1942 – 6 August 2008) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A full-back, Going represented North Auckland at a provincial level as well as the New Zealand Māori and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks.

Rugby career

Ken played over 100 games for North Auckland, many alongside his brothers Sid and Brian. [1]

Of Ngāti Hine and Ngāpuhi descent, [2] Going played 24 matches for New Zealand Māori. [3] [1] His brothers Sid and Brian also played 16 and 23 games respectively for New Zealand Māori. [4] [5]

Ken also represented the North Island in the Interisland match and was an All Black trialist. He was selected, at the age of 32, for the 1974 New Zealand rugby union tour of Ireland, Wales and England. He is officially recorded as All Black number 742. He played three matches for the All Blacks against:

Ken Going did not play any internationals, that honour fell to Joe Karam. [3] Ken's brother Sid Going, All Black number 655, played 29 tests and 57 other matches for the All Blacks.

Sidney Milton Going was a New Zealand rugby union footballer. Dubbed Super Sid by his fans, he played 86 matches, including 29 tests, for the All Blacks between 1967 and 1977. He represented North Auckland domestically.

The Petone Rugby Football Club was founded in 1885 and has been the Wellington Premier Champion 39 times between 1895 and 2005. In addition, the club has won the Club Championship on 42 occasions between 1922 and 2005. Petone is a constituent club of the Wellington Rugby Football Union.

The New Zealand rugby league season 2010 was the 103rd season of rugby league that was played in New Zealand. The main feature of the year was the new National Zonal competition run by the New Zealand Rugby League. The 1982 New Zealand Māori rugby union tour of Wales and Spain was a series of matches played by the Māori All Blacks in Wales in October and November 1982. The Māori played nine games of which they won five, lost three and drew one. Six of the games were played against Welsh club or county sides while the one was played against the Wales national rugby union team. Wales did not award full international caps for the match. The Maori then played against a Spanish Presidents XV and finally the Spain national rugby union team.

Scott Crichton is a former New Zealand rugby union player. A prop, educated at Wanganui Boys' College, Whanganui. After transferring to the Capital he played club rugby for the Karori, Oriental-Rongotai, Athletic and Western Suburbs rugby football clubs in Wellington.

Brian William Cederwall represented Wellington in rugby union between 1972 and 1983 playing 103 first class matches. Cederwall also played 52 first-class cricket matches for Wellington. He is the older brother of Grant Cederwall. He played four All Black trials also making the New Zealand juniors in 1973 and 1974. He now works as a teacher at St Patrick's College Kilbirnie in Wellington.
