Kenneth Alden "Ken" Johnson (born November 24, 1968) is an American sport shooter. He tied for 38th place in the men's 10 metre air rifle event at the 2000 Summer Olympics. He is the husband of Olympic gold medalist Nancy Johnson. [1] [2]
The "Miracle on Ice" was an ice hockey game during the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. It was played between the hosting United States and the Soviet Union on February 22, 1980, during the medal round of the men's hockey tournament. Though the Soviet Union was a four-time defending gold medalist and heavily favored, the United States upset them and won 4–3.

Matthew Alexander Dryke is an American former sport shooter. He competed and won a gold medal in the 1984 Summer Olympics. He is a two-time world champion in skeet shooting, from 1983 and 1986, and earned a silver medal in 1987.
Nancy Napolski-Johnson is a retired American sport shooter. She competed and won a gold medal in the 2000 Summer Olympics at 26. Nancy Johnson also competed in the 1996 Olympics but finished in 36th place.
Following a recent tradition, the women's 10 metre air rifle competition was the first medal event concluded at the 2000 Summer Olympics. It was held on 16 September, the day after the opening ceremony, with the 40-shot qualification round between 09:00 and 10:15 Australian Eastern Standard Time (UTC+10), and the final round of 10 additional shots at 11:00. Kang Cho-hyun equalled the Olympic record in the qualification round but lost her two-point pre-final lead to Nancy Johnson, who thus won the first Sydney gold medal for the United States.
David Alan Johnson is an American rifle shooter who won a gold medal in the 10 m air rifle at the 1991 Pan American Games. Next year he competed at the same event at the 1992 Olympics and finished in 11th place.
Norbelis Bárzaga Vázquez is a Cuban sport shooter. He had won a total of three medals in pistol shooting at the Pan American Games, and was selected to represent Cuba in two editions of the Olympic Games. Throughout his sporting career, Barzaga trained as a member of the shooting team for Granma City Sport Club under his personal coach Narciso López.
Vladimir Aleksandrovich Goncharov is a Russian sport shooter. He collected a total of three bronze medals in pistol shooting at the ISSF World Shooting Championships, and was also selected to represent Russia at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, finishing ninth in the air pistol and fourth in the free pistol. Gontcharov is also a member of the shooting team for Dynamo St. Petersburg, under head coach Anatoliy Suslov.
Amelia Rosa Fournel is an Argentine sport shooter. She produced a career tally of five medals, including four from the Pan American Games, and was selected to compete for Argentina in two editions of the Olympic Games. Having pursued the sport since the age of fifteen, Fournel trained full-time for the Santa Fe Shooting Federation in her native Santa Fe, under her personal coach and brother Claudio Fournel.
Lajos Pálinkás is a Hungarian sport shooter. He has competed for Hungary in pistol shooting at four Olympics, and has been close to an Olympic medal in 1996. Outside the Olympic career, Palinkas has produced a career tally of four medals in a major international competition, a total of three at numerous meets of the ISSF World Cup series and a bronze under the senior category at the 1989 European Championships.
Dionysios Georgakopoulos is a Greek sport shooter. He has been selected to compete for Greece in two editions of the Olympic Games, and has won a total of two medals, a gold and a silver, in pistol shooting at a major international competition, spanning the 2001 and 2003 ISSF World Cup series. Georgakopoulos is also a member of the shooting team at Ethnikos Gymnastikos Syllogos in his native Athens.
Christopher Rice is a sport shooter from the United States Virgin Islands. He has been selected to compete for the Virgin Islands as a lone pistol shooter in two editions of the Olympic Games, and has won a bronze medal in free pistol at the 2001 American Continental Championships in Fort Benning, Georgia, United States. Rice also trains under head coach Will Henderson for the Virgin Island Shooting Federation.
Hiromi Misaki is a Japanese sport shooter. She has been selected to compete for Japan in rifle shooting at two Olympics, and has attained a total of five medals in a major international competition, spanning the ISSF World Cup series. Misaki trains full-time for Hitachi Shooting Team under her longtime coach Yoko Miki.
Alyona Aksyonova is an Uzbek sport shooter. She won a bronze medal in small-bore rifle prone at the 2000 Asian Championships in Langkawi, Malaysia, and was selected to compete for Uzbekistan in two editions of the Olympic Games.
Divna Pešić is a Macedonian sport shooter. She has been selected to compete for the Republic of Macedonia in two editions of the Olympic Games, finishing outside the top 30 in both air and small-bore rifle shooting. Pesic trains at a shooting club in Kavadarci under her father and longtime coach Blagoj Pešić.
