Table tennis career

Craigie won a bronze medal at the 1954 World Table Tennis Championships in the Swaythling Cup (men's team) event with Richard Bergmann, Johnny Leach, Aubrey Simons and Harry Venner for England. [2]

He coached the twin sisters Diane Rowe and Rosalind Rowe at the West Ealing Table Tennis Club. [3]

Johnny Leach British table tennis player

John Alfred Leach MBE was a British table tennis player, coach, and author. He began competing at a relatively old age, 17, before serving in World War II. During the war, he greatly elevated his game and, in 1946, achieved a world ranking. In 1949, Leach became Great Britain's second World Champion singles player. After winning the title, he achieved widespread fame within the United Kingdom, appearing on television and writing for News of the World. Two years later, Leach added a second singles title. Diane Schöler is a retired table tennis player from England. In 1966 she married German table tennis player Eberhard Schöler, and since then competed for West Germany. From 1951 to 1972 she won several medals in single, double, and team events in the Table Tennis European Championships, and in the World Table Tennis Championships.
