Kericho High School is a Kenyan boys secondary school, located in Kericho, Kericho County about 3.9kilometers from Kericho Town CBD. The current principal is Dr Daniel Chelule. Edwin Cheres the soin sigowet Mp aspirant 2022 is one of the alumnae. History

The school started on 15 June 1959, [2] with eleven boys and two teachers – Mr. John Bowles the first Head teacher and Mr. Wesley Rono, the first African teacher in the school. [3] It currently has a population of approximately two thousand students.

David Kimutai Too was a Kenyan politician affiliated to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). He was a high school teacher and then a principal from Kericho in Rift Valley, Kenya before being elected to the National Assembly from Ainamoi Constituency from a field of 13 candidates in the December 2007 parliamentary election. Charles Keter, a fellow Member of Parliament, described Too as "a very humble, quiet man." The "List of alleged perpetrators" of the 2007/2008 post-electoral violence of the Kenya National Human Rights Commission however lists him among the suspects on place 3 and charges him with "planning, incitement, and financing the violence".

Charles Cheruiyot Keter is a Kenyan politician. He has belonged to the United Democratic Alliance Party of Kenya (UDA) since 2022.

Belgut is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of six constituencies of Kericho County. The constituency was established for the 1963 elections. A new Constituency Sigowet-Soin was curved out of this Constituency in 2013 after the promulgation of the new constitution (2010).

Wesley Kimngeno arap Rono was the Second Member of Parliament for Belgut Constituency in Kericho County in 1969. Before he joined politics he served as the Principal for Cheptenye Boys in Kericho County. He held a BSc from the University of Nairobi.

Aaron Kipkirui Cheruiyot, MGH( born 23 February 1986) is a Kenyan politician. He was elected as senator for Kericho County succeeding Charles Keter who had resigned to take up a cabinet portfolio. He was elected majority leader of the senate in 2022.

Hon. Amb. CPA Benjamin Kipkirui Langat, CBS is the current Member of Parliament for Ainamoi Constituency and immediate former Kenya High Commissioner to Namibia. He also served as the Member of Parliament for Ainamoi Constituency in Kericho from 2008 to 2017. He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree in Accounting and Bachelor of Commerce Degree both from the University of Nairobi. He is also a fully qualified Certified Public Accountant and member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya in good standing.
