Kethamreddy Vinod Reddy (born 17 July 1982) is an Indian politician and the former state general secretary of the Indian Youth Congress, Andhra Pradesh. [1] He worked as Nellore City Incharge [2] of Jana Sena Party post 2019 General Elections by contesting as MLA Candidate of the party. [3] [4] Later, he joined Telugu Desam Party during 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election along with Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy as his close associate.
Vinod Reddy was born on 17 July 1982 at Nellore City. He is not from a political background family. His father Vasudeva Reddy is a Police Constable [5] and his mother Vani is a housewife. Since his father is police constable and had transfers to various locations, Vinod Reddy completed his primary and secondary education at Sullurupeta, Intermediate at Gudur and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) at University of Madras, Chennai. After completion of his under graduation, he started his own business in corporate advertising in the name of inventive ads [6] during the year 2002 and continuing that.
During 2003-2005, Vinod Reddy worked as constituency president of National Students' Union of India (NSUI), Gudur. Later in 2006, he worked as Workers committee member, Indian Youth Congress, Nellore City. In 2008, he had taken a political pilot project, Rahul Yuva Baata. In 2009, he was the president of Nellore District Congress Party publicity wing. In 2012 and 2014, he was the president of Indian Youth Congress, Nellore City and Nellore District respectively. In 2015, he worked as State Social Media Coordinator of the Indian National Congress, Andhra Pradesh and in 2016, he was the State General Secretary of the Indian Youth Congress, Andhra Pradesh. [7]
During 2017, he undertook a political movement by name Save Nellore, questioning the loans acquired by Nellore Municipal Corporation from Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO). [8] During 2018, he joined Jana Sena Party inspired by Pawan Kalyan, President of the party and contested as MLA Candidate of Nellore city competing with the ex Minister of Irrigation, then sitting MLA Anil Kumar Poluboina of YSR Congress Party and corporate colleges giant, then State Minister of Municipal Administration Ponguru Narayana of Telugu Desam Party. [9] Later in 2024, before AP General Elections, he joined Telugu Desam Party along with then Nellore MP Candidate Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and campaigned in Nellore City.
On May 17, 2022, he launched a door-to-door political campaign in the Nellore City constituency under the name Pawananna Praja Bata, which means "Pawan Kalyan's People Path" stating his party's ideology and why Pawan Kalyan should be made the Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. [10] [11] [12] [13]
Konidela Pawan Kalyan is an Indian politician, actor and philanthropist serving as the 11th Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh since June 2024. He is also the Minister of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development and Rural Water Supply; Environment, Forest, Science and Technology in the Government of Andhra Pradesh and an MLA representing the Pithapuram constituency. He is the founder and president of the Janasena Party.
The Politics of Andhra Pradesh take place in the context of a bicameral parliamentary system within the Constitutional framework of India. Elections in Andhra Pradesh are conducted in accordance with the Constitution of India. The Assembly of Andhra Pradesh creates laws regarding the conduct of local body elections unilaterally while any changes by the state legislature to the conduct of state level elections need to be approved by the Parliament of India. In addition, the state legislature may be dismissed by the Parliament according to Article 356 of the Indian Constitution and President's rule may be imposed.

Varahi Yatra, is a mass contact moment led by Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan on 14 June 2023 with the blessings of Annavaram Satyanarayana Swamy, In order to emphasize the shortcomings of the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy administration, Janasena made a trip around the state in a vehicle called Varahi. The camper van used for the journey has amenities like a bed, kitchenware, a bathroom, etc. The Janavani initiative, where the party accepts petitions from individuals seeking satisfaction for their problems, is also included in the visit. Later, the complaints will be brought to the attention of the relevant authorities in order to get them resolved. The first stage of the yatra began on June 14 with a temple visit and ended on June 30 at Bhimavaram.
