Kevin Finneran

Kevin Finneran is an American lacrosse coach and former player. In 2006, he was the head coach and general manager of Major League Lacrosse's Chicago Machine. Prior to becoming the team's first head coach Finneran had played in the MLL. He played with the Long Island Lizards from 2001 to 2004 and the Philadelphia Barrage in 2005.

Kevin also played box lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He spent 12 years and won four NLL Championships with the Philadelphia Wings before signing as a free agent with the Toronto Rock, where he played one season and won another championship.

Kevin played for Team USA in the Heritage Cup in both 2002 and 2004, and was named the captain of the 2004 team. He played his college ball at Ohio Wesleyan where he was a first Team All-American Midfield, was coached by Mike Pressler and played in the 1989 NCAA Division III Lacrosse Championship.

His brother Brian Finneran, a former director of catering at the "21" Club and Tavern on the Green, is a well known event producer in New York City.

Finneran served as the Director of Lacrosse of IMG Academy from May 2010 to February 2011. [1]

Finneran attended Holy Trinity Diocesan High School on Long Island, where he led the lacrosse team to its first-ever winning season, as well as a Nassau-Suffolk Catholic League title, in 1982. [2] He played college lacrosse at Ohio Wesleyan and Cornell.

Finneran was inducted into the Ohio Wesleyan Athletics Hall of Fame as a member of the class of 2018. [3] In 2021, he was inducted into the NLL Hall of Fame.

John Christopher Grant Jr. is an American professional lacrosse coach and retired professional lacrosse player who has played in Major League Lacrosse, the National Lacrosse League, and the Ontario Lacrosse Association. He currently serves as an assistant coach for Redwoods Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League.

Michael "Mike" G. French is a former three-time All-American lacrosse player at Cornell University from 1974 to 1976, teaming with fellow lacrosse Hall of Fame members Eamon McEneaney, Dan Mackesey, Bill Marino, Tom Marino, Bob Hendrickson, Chris Kane, and Richie Moran to lead the Cornell Big Red to the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship in 1976. Dallas Eliuk is a former goaltender and assistant coach in the National Lacrosse League. Upon his retirement from play, Eliuk coached one season with the Portland LumberJax and two with the Colorado Mammoth. Dallas played for 18 years, 15 seasons for the Philadelphia Wings before being traded to the LumberJax, where he played for three seasons. Eliuk won four championships with the Wings, two championship MVP awards, was named to the All-Pro team nine times, and retired as the league's all-time leader in saves. Because of his success, his longevity, and unparalleled acrobatic athleticism, he is considered a legend in indoor lacrosse, and widely regarded as the best goalie to ever to play the game.

Derek Keenan is a former lacrosse player, and current head coach and general manager of the Saskatchewan Rush of the National Lacrosse League. Jake Bergey is an American retired lacrosse player. He played ten seasons for the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League. Bergey is the son of former NFL star Bill Bergey, and brother of fellow lacrosse player Josh Bergey. His uncle is former football player Bruce Bergey.

Tony Resch is a retired lacrosse player, and current field and box lacrosse coach. He is the former head coach of the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League from 1994 to 2001, and led the Wings to four Championships. Resch was named to the NLL Hall of Fame in 2008. Resch returned to coaching as the head coach of the Philadelphia Barrage of Major League Lacrosse. Resch graduated from Yale University, where he was a two-time All-American and three-time First Team All-Ivy League player.

Sal LoCascio is an American former professional lacrosse goaltender and coach who played the majority of his career for the New York Saints of the National Lacrosse League. Lacrosse has been played in Pennsylvania since the 19th century. The state has amateur programs at the club, college, and high school level, and several past and present professional teams in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and Major League Lacrosse (MLL).

Kevin E. Lowe is a finance executive and retired professional lacrosse player who played professional box lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League and professional field lacrosse in Major League Lacrosse from 1995 to 2006. He starred as a member of the Princeton Tigers men's lacrosse team from 1991 through 1994 and was inducted into the Lacrosse Museum and National Hall of Fame in 2009, joining his brother and father. He was a high school and college lacrosse United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-American. Lowe has the distinction of being the only player in lacrosse history to score an overtime goal in an NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship game and a Major League Lacrosse Steinfeld Cup championship game. He holds numerous Princeton scoring records and formerly held the Ivy League single-season assists record. As a college senior, he was honored as the National Collegiate Athletic Association's best lacrosse attackman and the Ivy League's best player. In his four-year college career, Princeton won its first two NCAA tournament Championship, two Ivy League Championships and earned four NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship tournament invitations.

Bill Miller was a three-time first-team All-American NCAA lacrosse player at Hobart College from 1988 to 1991.

The Drexel Dragons men's lacrosse team represents Drexel University in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's lacrosse. Drexel made its first NCAA tournament appearance in 2014, and a second NCAA tournament appearance in 2021.
