Kevin Scott MacDonald (born February 24, 1966) is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former professional ice hockey player.

Contents

Except for playing one game in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Ottawa Senators during the 1993–94 NHL season, MacDonald played his entire career in the minor leagues. He played in the International Hockey League (IHL), American Hockey League (AHL), and East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).

Roller hockey

MacDonald played one game of professional roller hockey when he suited up for the Ottawa Loggers (RHI) in 1996.

Coaching

Following his playing career, MacDonald spent three seasons (1998–2001) as the head coach of the Bakersfield Condors in the WCHL.

Francis Michael "King" Clancy was a Canadian professional ice hockey player, referee, coach and executive. Clancy played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs. He was a member of three Stanley Cup championship teams and won All-Star honours. After he retired in 1937, he remained in hockey, becoming a coach for the Montreal Maroons. Clancy next worked as a referee for the NHL. He joined the Maple Leafs organization and worked in the organization as a coach and team executive until his death in 1986. In 2017 Clancy was named one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players' in history.

Harold Lawton "Harry" "Punch" Broadbent was a Canadian ice hockey player. Broadbent played for the Ottawa Senators, Montreal Maroons and the New York Americans in the National Hockey Association (NHA) and National Hockey League (NHL) between 1912 and 1929. Broadbent won the Stanley Cup four times during his career, three times with Ottawa and once with Montreal. He is regarded as one of the first true power forwards in NHL history. For this reason, he was known in his day as "Old Elbows".

Brian Desmond Smith was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and sportscaster. Smith was born in Ottawa, Ontario, the son of former professional ice hockey player Des Smith and brother of former professional ice hockey goaltender Gary Smith. Smith was a professional ice hockey player from 1960 to 1973, playing 67 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Los Angeles Kings and Minnesota North Stars during the 1967–68 and 1968–69 seasons. He also later played for the Houston Aeros of the World Hockey Association during the 1972–73 season. Following his hockey career, Smith was a broadcaster for CJOH-TV in Ottawa until 1995, when he was shot and killed by gunman Jeffrey Arenburg.
