Opened on September 7, 1963, the Hall of Fame enshrines exceptional figures in the sport of professional football, including players, coaches, officials, franchise owners, and front-office personnel, almost all of whom made their primary contributions to the game in the National Football League (NFL).
Jeffrey Michael Fisher is an American professional football coach and former cornerback and return specialist. He served as a head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for 22 seasons, primarily with the Houston / Tennessee Oilers / Titans franchise. Fisher coached the Oilers / Titans from 1994 to 2010 and the St. Louis / Los Angeles Rams from 2012 to 2016. He is currently the commissioner of Arena Football One after serving as interim commissioner of the previous incarnation of the Arena Football League.
Kevin Darwin Greene was an American professional football player who was a linebacker and defensive end for the Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, and San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL) from 1985 through 1999. He had 160 sacks in his career, which ranks third among NFL career sack leaders, and he was voted to the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016.
The 2001 XFL draft was the only draft for the first-iteration XFL football league. The draft took place over a three-day time period from October 28 to October 30, 2000, during which time a total of 475 players were selected by the league's 8 teams from a pool of approximately 1,600 or so eligible players. The draft consisted of 59 rounds—10 rounds taking place on October 28, 15 rounds on October 29, and 34 rounds on October 30.

A first-round pick in the 1997 NFL draft, he played professionally for the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, and New Orleans Saints of the NFL, and Las Vegas Gladiators and Rio Grande Valley Dorados of the Arena League.

He played college football for the Arizona Wildcats, earned All-American honors and won the Lou Groza Award. He was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the third round of the 1995 NFL draft. He also played for five different arena football teams over an 11-year career.
Kevin James Porter is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach for Central State University, a position he has held since 2022. He was drafted in the third round of the 1988 NFL Draft by the Chiefs. He played professionally as a defensive back for the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets in the National Football League (NFL). Porter served as the head coach for the Kansas City Brigade of the Arena Football League (AFL) from 2006 to 2008, compiling a record of 13–20, including a 0–1 mark in the postseason. In 2010, he was the head football coach at Avila University. For the fall of 2011, Porter became the athletic director and football coach at Georgia's Point University. He was the head football coach at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia from 2016 to 2019.
Jamin Elliott is an American former professional football wide receiver. He was selected by the Chicago Bears in the sixth round in 2002 NFL draft. He played college football at Delaware. With the New England Patriots, he won Super Bowl XXXVIII over the Carolina Panthers.
Steven Bernard Wilks is an American football coach in the National Football League (NFL). A defensive assistant for most of his career, he was the assistant head coach and defensive backs coach for the Carolina Panthers when they reached Super Bowl 50 and the defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers when they reached Super Bowl LVIII. Wilks was also the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals in 2018 and the interim head coach of the Panthers in 2022.
Rodney McSwain is an American former professional football cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 1984 NFL draft. He played seven seasons for the New England Patriots from 1984 to 1990. He also played two seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL) with the Detroit Drive, winning ArenaBowl VI in 1992.

McLeod John Baltazar Bethel-Thompson is an American professional football quarterback for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was a member of the Toronto Argonauts, winning two Grey Cup championships with the team: one as a back-up quarterback in 2017, another as the team's starter in 2022. He played college football at UCLA and Sacramento State. He is the grandson of the 1948 Olympic shot put champion Wilbur 'Moose' Thompson. Bethel-Thompson is a journeyman quarterback having been a member of five different NFL teams, three CFL teams, and one team in the Arena Football League (AFL), United Football League (UFL), and United States Football League (USFL).
