Khabaristan Times (KT) was a Pakistani digital news satire publication, run by journalists Kunwar Khuldune Shahid and Luavut Zahid, who were the brains behind the content. Shahid was the editor of the publication, while Zahid took up responsibilities as the CEO. The website published satirical articles on national and local issues. [1] The website was blocked for viewership within Pakistan by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority on January 25, 2017. [2] [3]

Khabaristan Times was a renowned satire and parody website with its commentary on Pakistani politics and the military. [4] In 2015, a satirical piece by the website went viral and was reported by the annual symposium Women in the World [5] and international medial outlets. [6] [7] [8] In 2017, KT was reportedly blocked in Pakistan. [9] [10] Khabaristan Times ceased to exist in April 2017.

News satire or news comedy is a type of parody presented in a format typical of mainstream journalism, and called a satire because of its content. News satire has been around almost as long as journalism itself, but it is particularly popular on the web, with websites like The Onion and The Babylon Bee, where it is relatively easy to mimic a legitimate news site. News satire relies heavily on irony and deadpan humor.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is a Pakistani politician and businessman who served as the 18th prime minister of Pakistan from August 2017 to May 2018. The Peshawari chappal is a traditional type of footwear of Pashtuns, worn especially by Pashtuns in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. Arth – The Destination is a 2017 Pakistani romantic drama film, written, directed and co-produced by Shaan Shahid under his banner 5th Element. It stars Shahid as Ali, a struggling musician, with Humaima Malick, Mohib Mirza and Uzma Hassan in lead roles. It is a Pakistani remake based on Mahesh Bhatt's 1982 film Arth.

Zahid Hamid is a Pakistani politician, and lawyer. A member of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Hamid previously served as the Minister for Law and Justice and Minister of Climate Change in the Third Sharif ministry between 2015 and 2017. He briefly served as the Minister of Law and Justice in June 2013 before being appointed as Minister of Science and Technology from June 2013 to November 2014. He again served as Minister for Law and Justice under Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi from August 2017 until he resigned in November 2017.

Azad is a 2018 melodrama film directed and written by Rehan Sheikh, who co-produced with Hasan Naeem under the production banner of Bling Studios and Roomi Films. The film features Sabreen Hisbani, Sanam Saeed, Salman Shahid, Rehan Sheikh, Nimra Bucha and Zahid Ahmed, and Sajjad Kishwar. The cast also includes debutants Ajlal Shah and Jawad Rana. Ibn-e-Hawwa is a Pakistani television drama series produced by Momina Duraid under banner MD Productions, written by Saji Gul and directed by Syed Ahmed Kamran. It stars Hira Mani, Shahzad Sheikh and Aymen Saleem. It broadcasts weekly on Hum TV from 8 February to 20 August 2022.
