Khaled Emam (born January 17, 1994) is an Egyptian human rights lawyer, peace activist and scholar who speaks widely on democracy, justice, peace, and security in the Middle East. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
He is the founder and Executive Director of Justice Call, [6] [7] a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and marginalized communities across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Khaled writes extensively on issues of global security, Middle East politics, [8] and multilateral diplomacy. [9] [10] [11] [12]
Emam earned a Bachelor of Laws and a Master’s degree in Law from Cairo University, [13] as well as a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. [14] He has also taught international law, peace, and security in various institutions around the world. [15]
