Khan Ghufran Zahidi (born 20 July 1934,Hindi:खानगुफरानज़ाहिदी) was an Indian politician. He was the member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly (Thrice) from Fatehpur assembly. also he was Minister of Government of Uttar Pradesh in 1989. [1] [2]
Ghufran was first elected as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly three consecutive times in the year 1977 on a Janata Party ticket. Later,he also became a member of the panel speaker. In the year 1989,he also held the post of minister in the Uttar Pradesh government. From 1982 to 1984,he was also on the Committee on Public Undertaking of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Later,he also held the post of member of the Rajya Sabha from 1996 to 1998. And he also held the post of Vice President of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee for many years. [3]

The Samajwadi Party is currently led by former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,Akhilesh Yadav after he was chosen as the President at the party's national convention held in 2017.
A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district (constituency) to the legislature of State government in the Indian system of government. From each constituency,the people elect one representative who then becomes a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Each state has between seven and nine MLAs for every Member of Parliament (MP) that it has in the Lok Sabha,the lower house of India's bicameral parliament. There are also members in three unicameral legislatures in Union Territories:the Delhi Legislative Assembly,Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and the Puducherry Legislative Assembly. Only a Member of the Legislative Assembly can work as a minister for more than 6 months. If a non-Member of the Legislative Assembly becomes a Chief Minister or a minister,he must become an MLA within 6 months to continue in the job. Only a Member of the Legislative Assembly can become a Speaker of the Legislature.
Although India is a parliamentary democracy,the country's politics has become dynastic or with high level of nepotism,possibly due to the absence of party organizations,independent civil-society associations which mobilize support for a party,or centralized financing of elections. The dynastic phenomenon is present at the national,state,regional,and district level. The Nehru–Gandhi family has produced three Indian prime ministers,and family members have largely led the Congress party since 1978. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also has several dynastic leaders. In addition to the major national parties,other national and regional parties such as Shiromani Akali Dal,Shiv Sena,Samajwadi Party,Rashtriya Janata Dal,Janata Dal Secular,Jharkhand Mukti Morcha,Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam,Kerala Congress,Jammu &Kashmir National Conference,Indian Union Muslim League,AIMIM,and the Nationalist Congress Party are all dominated by families,mostly those of the party founders.
Chandrapal Singh Yadav is an Indian politician who was as a member of the Rajya Sabha,the upper house of the Parliament of India. Yadav was recently elected as a president of the I.C.A - Asia Pacific region. He was previously a member of the 14th Lok Sabha for the Jhansi constituency in Uttar Pradesh. He was also a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly between 1996 and 2001.

Bhagat Singh Koshyari is an Indian politician who served as the 22nd governor of Maharashtra from 2019 to 2023. An RSS veteran,Koshyari served as National Vice-President of BJP and party's 1st State president for Uttarakhand. He also served as 2nd Chief Minister of Uttarakhand from 2001 to 2002 and thereafter,was the leader of the opposition in the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly from 2002 to 2003. He also served as an MLC in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council and MLA in Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. He later served as an MP in Rajya Sabha from 2008 to 2014 from Uttarakhand and then the MP in the 16th Lok Sabha from Nainital-Udhamsingh Nagar constituency,earning him the distinction of being elected in both houses of State Legislature and both houses of National Parliament respectively.
Mohammad Azam Khan is an Indian politician,lawyer and elected representative who has served as the Member of Parliament from Rampur. He is one of the founding members of the Samajwadi Party and was a member of the Seventeenth Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. He was also the senior most Cabinet Minister in the Government of Uttar Pradesh and has been elected member of the legislative assembly ten times from Rampur assembly constituency.
Sanjaya Sinh,also known as Sanjay Singh,is an Indian politician and a former member of the Rajya Sabha. He was twice elected to the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh during the 1980s and held state ministerial posts. In 1990,he became a member of the upper house of the Parliament of India,which is known as the Rajya Sabha,and in 1998 he was elected to the lower house,called the Lok Sabha. His term in the 12th Lok Sabha session lasted until the following year. Subsequently,in 2009,he was successful in obtaining a second term in that house as a member of the 15th Lok Sabha representing the Sultanpur constituency of Uttar Pradesh. He represented the state of Assam in the Rajya Sabha. He resigned from Rajya Sabha and Indian National Congress to join Bharatiya Janata Party on 30 July 2019.

He had charge of Jammu and Kashmir during the governments of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. He was also a well known yoga teacher. Vikal was influenced by the ideology of the Arya Samaj from childhood and participated in the freedom movement from his student days. An agriculturist,Vikal championed the cause of the farmers,labourers and backward classes,and was instrumental in implementing various social welfare measures such as getting irrigation rates reduced and land revenue written off.
Vishambhar Prasad Nishad is an Indian politician from Samajwadi Party,also an advocate,agriculturist,and social worker. He served as a cabinet minister of the Uttar Pradesh government three times and was a member of parliament for Fatehpur in the 11th Lok Sabha in 1996.
