Oba Hills Forest Reserve is a reserve in Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria, that covers about 52 km2 of hilly terrain with deep gorges. A 2003 report by the UICN said about 12% of the reserve had been planted with teak. Some chimpanzee sightings had been reported, and in 1999 a dead chimp was offered for sale in a local market. A 2009 report said that almost all of the reserve had been converted to plantations and farms, with only two gullies remaining forest-covered. Chimpanzees are now thought to be almost extinct in the reserve.

Siberian State Industrial University is the oldest university in Novokuznetsk, Russia. It was established on June 23, 1930, to train professional personnel for the construction of the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Combine. Prior to raising the status in 1994, it was named the Siberian Metallurgic Institute (SMI), then it was renamed the Siberian State Mining-Metallurgic Academy (SibGGMA). In 1998, the status of the university had risen to the level of the Technical University and it received the title of Siberian State Industrial University (SibSIU). The university is located in the central district of Novokuznetsk.

Lake Tungjong and Lake Chonapo Important Bird Area

The Lake Tungjong and Lake Chonapo Important Bird Area is a 2100 ha site lying on the western shore of the Sea of Japan, about 30 km east of the city of Wonsan in north-eastern Kangwon Province in North Korea. Part of it is protected as one of North Korea's designated Natural Monuments. It comprises two coastal lagoons and was identified by BirdLife International as an Important Bird Area (IBA), mainly because it supports populations of wintering water and wetland birds. Species using the site include swan geese, mute swans, whooper swans and red-crowned cranes.
