She rose to fame in late 2002 when she auditioned for the reality series Popstars: The Rivals on ITV. The series announced that Walsh had won a place as a member of the girl group Girls Aloud. The group achieved large success, having twenty consecutive top ten singles in the UK, six studio albums have all been certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), two of which went to number one in the UK, and accumulating a total of five BRIT Award nominations. In 2009, Girls Aloud won "Best Single" with their song "The Promise".

JPM is a Taiwanese Mandopop music band formed under the management of Sony Music company with artists Jay Chou, Leehom Wang, and Vanness Wu. The group debuted on January 11, 2011 with three members: Liljay, Prince, and Mao Di from A Legend Star Entertainment Corp. Two members were originally part of Lollipop until 2009, while Mao Di is from Choc7.

Centre Stage is the debut studio album from British pop singer Kimberley Walsh, released on 4 February 2013 through Decca Records. The album is Walsh's first solo music release outside of British girl group Girls Aloud after working in acting, television presenting, and theatre. It consists of covers of songs from popular musical theatre and musical films, a passion which Walsh has wished to pursue since she was just three years old, as well as two brand new songs. Centre Stage also features duets with fellow performers Louise Dearman and Ronan Keating.

365 is Taiwanese Mandopop trio boyband JPM's second studio Mandarin album. It was first released on 30 November 2012 by Sony Music (Taiwan).

"Fragile" is a Mandarin single by Malaysian singer Namewee and Australian singer Kimberley Chen released on 15 October 2021. On YouTube, the song had over 15 million views within days, and it held the top spot of Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore's music trends for several weeks. Written as a comedic pop duet and featuring a dancing panda in the music video, "Fragile" satirizes the social issues in China, the political status of Taiwan, the Xinjiang internment camps, censorship in China, as well as the Little Pinks' response.
