The King Hammad Order of the Renaissance is the third highest civilian honour of Bahrain [1] decoration named after King Hamad.
The award was founded by King Hamad II on 17 April 2008, to recognize services towards the development of the country.[ citation needed ]

Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa is King of Bahrain since 14 February 2002, after ruling as Emir of Bahrain from 6 March 1999.
Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa was a Bahraini royal and politician who served as the Prime Minister of Bahrain from 10 January 1970 until his death in 2020. He took office over a year before Bahrain's independence on 15 August 1971. He was the longest-serving prime minister in the world. Under the 2002 Constitution he lost some of his powers, with the King now having the authority to appoint and dismiss ministers.
Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa was a Bahraini royal who served as the first Emir of Bahrain from 1961 until his death in 1999.
The House of Khalifa is the ruling family of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Al Khalifas profess Sunni Islam and belong to the Anizah tribe. Some members of this tribe joined the Utub alliance which migrated from Najd in central Arabia to Kuwait, then ruled all of Qatar, more specifically Al Zubarah, which they built and ruled over before settling in Bahrain in the early 17th century. The current head of the family is Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who became the Emir of Bahrain in 1999 and proclaimed himself King of Bahrain in 2002, in fact becoming a constitutional monarch.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani was the Emir of Qatar from 27 February 1972 until he was deposed by his son Hamad bin Khalifa on 27 June 1995.
Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa is Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain. He is also the deputy supreme commander of the Bahrain Defence Force.
In Bahrain, the prime minister is the head of government of the country. According to the Constitution of Bahrain, the prime minister is appointed directly by the King, and needs not to be an elected member of the Council of Representatives.
Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa was the youngest of three sons of the hakim of Bahrain, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. His eldest brother, Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, succeeded as hakim, and his other late brother, Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, was the prime minister. Mohammed was uncle to the reigning king, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Extremely strong and cordial relations exist between Bahrain and Pakistan. Bahrain maintains an embassy in Islamabad and a Consulate-General in Karachi, whilst Pakistan maintains an embassy in Manama. Both countries are members of the OIC and of the G 77.
Political, socio-economic, military and cultural ties exist between India and Bahrain. India is a close ally of Bahrain. As per Indian officials, the Kingdom along with its GCC partners are amongst the world's most prominent supporters of India's candidacy for a permanent seat on the UN Security Council, and Bahraini officials have urged India to play a greater role in international affairs. For instance, over concerns about Iran's nuclear programme, Bahrain's Crown Prince requested India to play an active role in resolving the crisis.

Aymen Tawfeeq Abdulrahman Almoayed is a Bahraini diplomat, lawyer and strategist, and was the youngest member in the Cabinet of Bahrain until the cabinet reshuffle on June 14, 2022. Almoayed was appointed as the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain on November 21, 2022.
Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said is the Crown Prince of Oman as the oldest son of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. Since 2020, Theyazin has served as the minister of culture, youth and sports.

Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Hamad Al Khalifa was a Bahraini poet. Born in the village of Al Jasra, he held several government jobs in his youth, and then became a self-employed poet and writer. He represented his country at a number of literary conferences in several Arab capitals. As the author of several collections of poetry, he saw his first four collections printed as العناقيد الأربعة in 1980.
The Order of Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa is a Bahraini order of merit. It is the highest decoration in the Kingdom of Bahrain and is named after Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the former Emir of Bahrain.
The 2005 Arab League summit, officially 17th Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Summit Level, was a regular summit that was held in Algiers, Algeria in March 2005.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony took place on Sunday, 20 November 2022 at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, prior to the opening match of the tournament between hosts Qatar and Ecuador. It included appearances by Morgan Freeman and Ghanim Al-Muftah, and a performance by South Korean singer Jungkook of BTS.
