Kingdom of Rock is the second full-length studio album by Swedish heavy metal songwriter, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Magnus Karlsson.
It was released under the project name Magnus Karlsson's Free Fall on 6 November 2015 by Frontiers Records. [1]
Like the previous album, it features many guest singers who worked with Magnus on his many projects, including Jørn Lande (one of the singers of the duo Allen/Lande), Jakob Samuel (who worked with Magnus in the band Midnight Sun) and once again Tony Harnell, Rick Altzi and David Readman, the last three also sang on Free Fall's debut album. The other singers featured are some of Magnus's biggest influences and colleagues in the music business such as Tony Martin (ex-Black Sabbath), Joe Lynn Turner (ex-Rainbow, ex-Deep Purple), Harry Hess (Harem Scarem) and Rebecca De La Moite. Magnus also sings three tracks on the album himself (including the bonus track) and Jaime Salazar (who worked with Magnus on bands Last Tribe, Planet Alliance, Midnight Sun and the Allen/Lande project) recorded the drums. Jørn Marumsrud Lande is a Norwegian hard rock and heavy metal singer and songwriter. Considered one of the best voices in the world in these musical genres, he is known for his work with the bands Ark, Beyond Twilight, Millenium, Vagabond, The Snakes, and most notably with power metal band Masterplan. He is also the most recurrent guest singer of the international supergroup Avantasia, and has worked as lead and guest singer in several projects. Currently, he is focusing his activities on his solo project Jorn. In 2014, Lande was hired by Riot Games to be the voice of the character Karthus, of the fictional heavy metal band Pentakill, on their debut album Smite and Ignite, recording vocals for the songs "Lightbringer" and "Thornmail". He was also hired to sing most of the songs for their 2017 album Grasp of the Undying. and their 2021 album Pentakill III: Lost Chapter.
Tony Harnell is an American rock singer, best known for his work with Norwegian hard rock band TNT. He is also known for his wide vocal range, with his modal voice spanning over four octaves. In 2015, Harnell was briefly the frontman for heavy metal band Skid Row.

Dio is a cover album by Jørn Lande's solo project Jorn, released in July 2010. The album was recorded as a tribute to the singer Ronnie James Dio and consists of covers of songs from Dio, Black Sabbath and Rainbow, with one original composition written for Ronnie James Dio. Lande describes the album as a "fine collection of songs that present the music of The Man and The Artist, with a unique twist" and a "sincere and heartfelt “thank you” to a great and influential Artist" who "has affected my life and career in such a way that without his presence, I would not have become the artist I am today". A music video for the song "Song for Ronnie James" was released on YouTube. The announcement of the album did not pass off without critique however, as Lande was accused of exploiting the death of Dio. Frontiers Records President released a statement in which he denies those accusations and explains that the album had been in the works since spring of 2009, before Dio's death in May 2010. In South America the album is called Song For Ronnie James.
The Showdown is the third studio album by hard rock supergroup Allen-Lande, a collaboration between vocalists Russell Allen and Jørn Lande released on November 5, 2010. It is the third album in a row, and the last, to feature Magnus Karlsson as songwriter, producer and performer of most instruments, and Jaime Salazar on drums. Unlike on previous albums, Karlsson only wrote lyrics for a few songs, with most songs featuring lyrics by Tomas Erlandsson instead.
