Kingdom is an anime adaptation of a manga series of the same title written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara. A fifth season was announced at the end of the fourth season. [1] It was originally planned to premiere on January 7, 2024, [2] but was delayed by a week due to the channel coverage of the Noto earthquake, [3] eventually airing from January 14 to March 31 of the same year. Ema Tōyama is a female Japanese manga artist and illustrator. She made her debut in September 2003 in the monthly manga magazine Nakayoshi with her story, Tenshi no Tamago. Tokyopop licensed her first serialized manga Gokkun! Pūcho under the title Pixie Pop. Almost all of her works are published by Kodansha.

Kingdom is a 2019 Japanese film directed by Shinsuke Sato and produced by Sony Pictures Japan. It is an adaptation of the manga series of the same name, created by Yasuhisa Hara and published by Shueisha. The screenplay was written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, Shinsuke Sato and Yasuhisa Hara. Kento Yamazaki, who starred in a 3-minute short of the same name released in 2016, reprises his role as the film's protagonist with a supporting cast that includes Ryo Yoshizawa, Kanna Hashimoto, Masami Nagasawa, Kanata Hongō and Takao Osawa. The film portrays the life of Li Xin, a general of Qin, from his childhood as an orphan through his military career during the Warring States period of ancient China.

On August 13, 2022, Funimation announced at 11:30 am Pacific Time, that the third season of the series would receive an English dub all 26 episodes.

The opening theme is "Rei -ray-" performed by Suiren while the ending theme is "Genyou (Dazzling)" performed by Haku. The second opening theme is "geki" performed by zonji, while the second ending theme is "Believe" performed by Misaki.
