Kiran Verma (born December 27, 1984) is an Indian social activist and social worker. He is the founder of Simply Blood. [2] [3] Currently, he is on his way for 21000KM Walk for Blood Donation Awareness. [4] [5] [6]

Early life and education

Kiran Verma was born in Maujpur, Delhi, India on December 27, 1984. He is born to Inderjeet Verma and Champa Verma. [7]

He is a dropout of Senior Secondary School. [8]

Kiran Verma is married to Jayati in year 2015. [9]

Awards, honours and accolades

In May 2023, Verma was invited as a Jury in the Beautiful Indians 2023 organised by Femina and Mamaearth. [10] [11]

On the World Blood Donor Day 2023, He was accolade by Indian Media for his efforts. [12] [13] He has completed 13400 Kilometres walking. [14] [15] [16]

On April 9, 2023, he was invited in The Kapil Sharma Show with Suresh Raina, Deepak Chahar, Aakash Chopra, Priyanka Choudhary, Aakashi Mathur, Jaya Bharadwaj. [17]

Kiran Verma won 'LinkedIn Power Profile 2018' and was one of the most viewed influencer on LinkedIn in as per list released by LinkedIn in 2018 with Narendra Modi, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw etc. [18] [19] [20] [21]

Activism

Change With One Meal

Verma started a restaurant at the Maujpur, Delhi in October 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic where the food is being provided for Rupees 10 only to every needy. [25] [23]

Walk for Blood

Kiran Verma had founded, Simply Blood for Blood Donation in 2016. He started a walk of 21,000 KM on December 28, 2021, with an aim of making people aware of blood donations. [26] He started from the city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. [27] [28] [29]

Nagaland

He reached Nagaland on November 23, 2023, after visiting Bangladesh and Nepal. He met Temjen Imna Along, the State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Nagaland, who supported Verma in his path to the Blood Donation awareness. [30] [31]

2018 Walk

He had walked from Kashmir to Trivandrum for Blood Donation awareness in 2018. [32] [33] [34] [35] [36]

Purvanchal Expressway is a 340.8 km long, 6-lane wide access-controlled expressway in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The expressway connects Chand Saray village near Gosainganj in Lucknow district with Haydaria village on NH-31 in Ghazipur district. It is developed by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA). The Purvanchal Expressway has a 3.2 km long airstrip at Akhalkiri Karwat village near Kurebhar in Sultanpur district for emergency landing of aircraft.
