Kissey released her first full-length album, Plethora, produced by Papa Jazz, on R2 Records in 2008. [3] She has collaborated with many other producers and artists such as Zed Bias (Maddslinky), Jay Scarlett, Dorian Concept, Domu, Blu, Ben Mono, Rustie, Machinedrum, and Rampa, resulting in numerous releases as a featured vocalist. [4] She is rumored to be working on her second album (title and label unknown). [5] [6]
Kissey has performed throughout The United States and Europe, including appearances at The Hultsfred Festival in Sweden, Heineken Refreshing Sounds Sessions' Welcome to Detroit concert in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Dante's Fried Chicken, opening for Dizzee Rascal and Aaron LaCrate and appearing as a guest with The Roots, both at The Highline Ballroom in New York City. Kissey has also shared the stage with Little Dragon, Theophilus London, Dj Antipop, Guilty Simpson and Black Milk. [7]

Gilles Jérôme Moehrle MBE, better known as Gilles Peterson, is a French broadcaster, DJ, and record label owner. He founded the influential labels Acid Jazz and Talkin' Loud, and started his current label Brownswood Recordings in 2006. He was awarded an honorary MBE in 2004, the AIM Award for Indie Champion and the Mixmag Award for Outstanding Contribution To Dance Music in 2013, the PRS for Music Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music Radio in 2014, and The A&R Award from the Music Producers Guild in 2019.
KCRW is a NPR member station broadcasting from the campus of Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California, where the station is licensed. KCRW airs original news and music programming in addition to programming from NPR and other affiliates. A network of repeaters and broadcast translators, as well as internet radio, allows the station to serve the Greater Los Angeles area and other communities in Southern California. The station's main transmitter is located in Los Angeles's Laurel Canyon district, adjacent to Mulholland Drive at the end of Briarcrest Road, and broadcasts in the HD radio format. It is one of two full NPR members in the Los Angeles area; Pasadena-based KPCC is the other.

John Forté is an American recording artist and producer. He is primarily known for being a member of the musical duo Refugee Camp All-Stars, and his production work on the Fugees album The Score. He has released four albums. In 2000, Forté was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and conspiracy to distribute; he was convicted and sentenced to the mandatory minimum 14 years after being found guilty. In 2008, Forté's prison sentence was commuted by President George W. Bush.
László Fogarasi Jr., known by his stage name Yonderboi, is a Hungarian composer, music producer and visual artist. His debut album, Shallow and Profound, released in 2000, brought Eastern European music to the Western European electronic music scene, and was met with critical acclaim by producers Laurent Garnier and Gilles Peterson on Radio Nova and BBC Radio 1 Worldwide respectively, as well as performing at the Sziget festival and the Lowlands festival in 2000. Jazz-funk is a subgenre of jazz music characterized by a strong back beat, electrified sounds, and analog synthesizers.
