Klarenbeek is a village in the eastern Netherlands. The village belongs to two municipalities, Apeldoorn and Voorst, with the municipality border situated in the middle of the village.
Klarenbeek is named after an estate situated next to the Klaarbeek. This estate was later also named Klarenbeek. Both Klaarbeek and Klarenbeek translate to "Clear Stream" in English.
Klarenbeek has its own railway station, Klarenbeek railway station, 2 km northeast of the village on the railway line between Apeldoorn and Zutphen. The station can be reached by Buurtbus service. This service connects with the station hourly, from 7am to 6pm. The railway station lies within the borders of the municipality of Voorst.
The village is located along the European hiking route E11, locally known as the Marskramerpad or Handelsweg.
The village of Klarenbeek was founded in 1732 when a copper mill was established next to the Beekbergse Beek. In 1764, this copper mill was bought by the family of Krepel. [3] To increase the capacity of the mill, the Beekbergse Beek was enlarged and heightened, causing the water to fall down faster. Later, a water reservoir called "De Wiert" was added to this. The Wiert still exists, and when the winters are cold enough, it is a common location for ice skating. The Krepel family built homes for their employees, creating the first non-farm houses in Klarenbeek.
Apeldoorn is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands. The municipality of Apeldoorn, including villages like Beekbergen, Loenen, Ugchelen and Hoenderloo, had a population of 165,525 on 1 December 2021. The western half of the municipality lies on the Veluwe ridge, with the eastern half in the IJssel valley.

Beekbergen is a village and former municipality in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Apeldoorn on the edge of the Veluwe. The rural area on the southwestern side of the village is dominated by forests and the rural area on the northeastern side by agricultural land. A hamlet called Engeland is situated inside the rural area that is part of Beekbergen, as well as several holiday villages, campsites and hotels. The village also houses a number of retirement homes and a homeless shelter, called "Het Hoogeland". Beekbergen had 4,546 residents on 1 January 2016, of which about three out of five people were living inside the urban area.

Klarenbeek is a railway station, located in Klarenbeek, Netherlands. The station opened on 1 June 1882 and is on the Amsterdam–Zutphen railway (Oosterspoorweg). The station is actually 2 km north-east of Klarenbeek. The station was originally only built because the line between Apeldoorn and Zutphen was single track, a passing point was needed, this was here. Until December 2006, the station had just 1 platform and one train each way per hour stopped at the station, allowing the other to pass. In December 2006, when 2 more new stations were built on the line, the station received 2 platforms. The train services are operated by Arriva.
