The Paralympic Games or Paralympics, also known as the Games of the Paralympiad, is a periodic series of international multisport events involving athletes with a range of disabilities. There are Winter and Summer Paralympic Games, which since the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, are held almost immediately following the respective Olympic Games. All Paralympic Games are governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
An all-time medal table for all Paralympic Games from 1960 to 2022. The International Paralympic Committee does not publish all-time tables, and publishes unofficial tables only per single Games. This table was thus compiled by adding up single entries from the IPC database. This medal table also includes the medals won on the 1992 Summer Paralympics for Intellectually Disabled, held in Madrid, which also organized by the International Coordination Committee (ICC) and same Organizing Committee (COOB'92) that made the gestion of the 1992 Summer Paralympics held in Barcelona and also part of same event. But the results are not on the International Paralympic Committee 's (IPC) database.
Dame Sarah Joanne Storey, is a British Paralympic athlete in cycling and swimming, and a multiple gold medalist in the Paralympic Games, and six times British (able-bodied) national track champion. Her total of 28 Paralympic medals including 17 gold medals makes her the most successful and most decorated British Paralympian of all time as well as one of the most decorated Paralympic athletes of all time. She has the unique distinction of winning five gold medals in Paralympics before turning 19.
Louise Ellery is an Australian Paralympic track and field athlete, Commonwealth Games gold medalist and former world record holder in F32 Shot put for elite athletes with a disability. At the 2016 Rio Paralympics, she won a bronze medal.
Poland competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. Since the nation's official debut in 1924, Polish athletes have appeared in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games except the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, because of the Soviet boycott.
Veronika Vadovičová is a Slovak Paralympic shooter. In 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China, she won gold medalint the 10 meter SH1. She competed at the 2016 Summer Paralympics, winning two gold medals and a silver medal. She competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, in Mixed R6 50 metre rifle prone SH1, winning a gold medal.
Holly Irene Robinson is a New Zealand para-athlete, primarily competing in the javelin throw. She represented New Zealand at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Summer Paralympics, winning silver in 2016 and gold in 2020. At the 2016 Games, she was New Zealand's flagbearer for the opening ceremony.
Barbara Niewiedział is a Paralympian athlete from Poland competing mainly in category T20 sprint and middle-distance events. She is a two time Paralympic gold medalist in the 800m (2000) and 1,500 metres (2012) races and has won four World Athletic titles.
Jerusa Geber dos Santos is a visually impaired Brazilian sprinter. Competing in the T11 classification, Geber has competed at two Summer Paralympic Games, winning two silver and a bronze medal. She is also a multiple World Championships and Parapan American medalist, taking ten medals over five tournaments. She qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics, in Women's 100m T11, and Women's 200m T11.
Carlotta Gilli is a partially sighted Italian Paralympic swimmer who competes in international level events. She holds twelve world records in her class. She won five medals at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.
Xenia Francesca Palazzo is an Italian Paralympic swimmer of Russian descent who competes in international level events, She competed at the 2016 Summer Paralympics, and 2020 Summer Paralympics, in Women's 100m Backstroke - S8, Women's 200 individual medley SM8 winning a silver medal, Women's 4×100 freestyle relay P34 winning a gold medal, Women's 400 freestyle S8 winning a bronze medal and in Women's 50 metre freestyle S8, winning a bronze medal.
Alessia Scortechini is an Italian Paralympic swimmer who competes in international level events. She is a double World champion and a double European bronze medalist. She competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, in Women's 50m Freestyle-S10.
Thalita Vitória Simplício da Silva is a Brazilian Paralympic athlete who competes in sprinting and long jump events at international elite events. She is a Paralympic silver medalist, a six-time Parapan American Games silver medalist and a World champion in sprinting.
Leah Robinson is a retired Canadian Paralympic athlete who competed in sprinting events. She is a two-time Parapan American Games medalist and has competed at two Paralympic Games.
Jacek Czech is a Polish Paralympic swimmer who competes in backstroke and freestyle swimming events at international elite events.
Beatriz Borges Carneiro is a Brazilian Paralympic swimmer who competes in international elite competitions. She competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, in Women's 100 metre breaststroke SB14, winning a bronze medal.
Cheyenne Bouthoorn is a Dutch Paralympic athlete who competes in shot put and sprinting events at international elite competitions. She is a European multi-medalist in both of her events. She also competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Shelby Newkirk is a Canadian Paralympic swimmer who competes in international elite competitions. She is a World Para Swimming Championships medalist and has been selected to compete at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.
Marek Wietecki is a Polish Paralympic athlete who competes at international elite competitions. He is a World bronze medalist and a European champion in discus throw, he has also won two medals in javelin throw. He competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in the javelin throw and shot put where he finished in sixth place in both events on his debut appearance at the Games.
