The Catch Wrestling Association (CWA) was a professional wrestling organization based in Austria and Germany that was founded as the Internationalen Berufsringer Verbandes (IBV) in 1973. Since the late 1980s it has been known as the CWA in honour of the promotion's World Heavyweight Championship This has since become a common retronym for the entire history of the organisation. It was founded by Nico Selenkowitsch and run by him until the late 1980s when he was succeeded by long-term champion Otto Wanz and Peter Wilhelm.

Hüseyin Akbaş was a Turkish wrestler. He competed in freestyle wrestling at the 1956, 1960 and 1964 Olympics and won a bronze medal in 1956 and a silver in 1964. Akbaş won the world freestyle title in 1954, 1957, 1959 and 1962, placing third in 1955 and 1961 and fourth in 1965. In 2011 he was inducted into the United World Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Vladimer Khinchegashvili is a Georgian freestyle wrestler who competes in 55–61 kg categories. He won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics and a gold at the 2016 Olympics. He also won a world title in 2015 and European titles in 2014, 2016 and 2017. In 2015, he was selected as Male Georgian Athlete of the Year by the Georgian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. Ibrahim Farag Abdelhakim Mohamed is an Egyptian freestyle wrestler. He competed in the freestyle 55 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics; he was defeated by Vladimer Khinchegashvili in the qualification and eliminated by Radoslav Velikov in the first repechage round.
Haiat Farag is an amateur Egyptian freestyle wrestler, who played for the women's middleweight category. Farag represented Egypt at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed for the women's 63 kg class. She was quickly pinned in the first preliminary round by American wrestler Randi Miller, at about forty seconds.
Farag Ali was an Egyptian wrestler. He competed in the men's freestyle 52 kg at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
