Knots is an extended play (EP) by Filipina singer Moira Dela Torre and her cousin, LA-based singer, Nieman Gatus. The EP consists of five tracks. It was released on 26 October 2018 by Tarsier Records. [1]

Background

Two years after the release of their first collaboration EP, Dela Torre and Gatus released their second EP Knots. Its title comes from the third song of the EP, "Knots". All of the songs in Knots EP favored Gatus' genre, and were written by Gatus and Dela Torre. The EP was produced by American producer, Nick Pacoli. [2]

Single

The first single of the album Knots was released on 27 September 2018. [3] According to Dela Torre, the song was written in a car while Gatus and their producer Nick Pacoli were on their way to the recording studio to record their first collaboration EP Lost In Translation . [4]

The second single Tell Nobody was released on 11 October 2018. [5]

Distance, the third single of the album was released by Tarsier Records on 26 October 2018. [6]

Patawad is the second studio album by Filipina singer Moira Dela Torre. It was released in 2020 by Star Music. The album consists of thirteen tracks. This album features the trilogy "Patawad, Paalam" with I Belong To The Zoo, "Paalam" with Ben&Ben, and the titular song "Patawad". The album was certified platinum the same year.

"Heal" is a song produced by Jonathan Manalo and released on September 11, 2020 by Star Music. The song was produced as a collaboration song featuring all-female Southeast Asian singers, to extend the love and spur unity for everyone's healing during these hard times as well as in response to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

"Titibo-Tibo" (transl. Boyish) is a song recorded by Filipino singer Moira Dela Torre for her debut studio album Malaya. It was composed by Libertine Amistoso and it is only interpreted by Moira. The song won at the competition Himig Handog 2017 at the end of November held on ASAP. It was released for digital download and streaming on February 18, 2018, through Star Music. This song also topped that charts for 2 weeks on the Philippine Hot 100.

Zack Nimrod D. Tabudlo is a Filipino singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. Tabudlo has collaborated with fellow artists like Sharlene San Pedro, Moira Dela Torre, James Reid, Violette Wautier, and Al James. He was first seen as a contestant on the first season of The Voice Kids under Bamboo Mañalac's mentorship, where he was eliminated in the competition's second round. He later began his musical career in 2018 before he rose to fame in 2020 when he joined MCA Music through sub-label Island Records Philippines.

The 34th Awit Awards were held on November 29, 2021. Indie pop duo Leanne & Naara and folk pop band Ben&Ben led the nominations with seven, and won the awards for Album of the Year and Record of the Year, respectively. The Song of the Year category was awarded to Moira Dela Torre and Jason Marvin's work of "Paubaya".
