Knud Gether (born 8 December 1946) is a Danish politician. He is a member of the Venstre political party. He was formerly a member of a local party, called Borgerlisten Langeland, and has been a member of Langeland Municipality's municipal council since the municipality's creation in 2007. Before that he sat in the municipal council of Sydlangeland Municipality from 1977, and was also the municipality's mayor from 1994, and until it was merged with Tranekær Municipality and Rudkøbing Municipality in 2007. Vindafjord is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Haugaland. Since 2005, the administrative centre of the municipality has been the village of Ølensjøen. Other villages in the municipality include Bjoa, Imslandsjøen, Ølensvåg, Skjold, Vats, Vikebygd, and Vikedal. Langeland Municipality is a municipality in Region of Southern Denmark, located entirely on the island of Langeland and a number of smaller surrounding islands. The municipality covers an area of 290.30 km2, and has a total population of 12,491 (2020). Being an island, it doesn't have any land borders with any other municipality, though it connects to Svendborg Municipality through the Siøsund Bridge. The municipality is also connected to Ærø Municipality and Lolland Municipality through ferry connections. Its mayor is Tonni Hansen, a member of the Socialist People's Party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Rudkøbing.

Knud Vældgaard Kristensen is is a Danish mason and politician, and he was son of Åge Kristensen and Inge Kristensen. He a member of Danish party Det Konservative Folkeparti. He is currently retired from politics.

Tonni Hansen is a Danish politician. He is a member of the Socialist People's Party and has been the mayor of Langeland Municipality since 2018. He has worked with furniture manufacturing and later with unions. He has also worked with development in Malawi and Zambia. Hansen is married and has two children.

Bjarne Nielsen is a Danish politician. He is a member of the Venstre political party. From 2010-2017 he was the mayor of Langeland Municipality, and has been in the municipal council since the municipality's creation in 2007. Before that he sat in the municipal council of Sydlangeland Municipality from 1994 and until it was merged with Tranekær Municipality and Rudkøbing Municipality in 2007. He has a military background.
