Koi Sie Yan (born 8 February 1999) is a Malaysian rhythmic gymnast. [1]
Koi first competed for Malaysia at an international rhythmic gymnastics championship in 2015 where she represented Malaysia at the 2015 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. Koi also went onto compete at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games and claimed her maiden Southeast Asian Games medal after securing a gold medal in the women's individual all-around event. At the 2017 Southeast Asian Games which was held in her home nation at Kuala Lumpur, she achieved four gold medals and a silver medal in the rhythmic gymnastics events.
She represented Malaysia at the 2018 Commonwealth Games which was her maiden Commonwealth Games appearance and competed in the rhythmic gymnastics discipline. [2] Koi claimed four medals at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games including 3 silver medals in the Team, individual ball event and individual clubs event along with a bronze medal in the individual ribbon event. She was again selected to represented Malaysia at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, [6] ending in 4th in the team event and qualifying for the ribbon final with a score of 25.750. [7]
In December 2023, the Malaysian Gymnastics Federation announced plans to engage Koi and Izzah Amzan as assistant coaches to the national team. [8]
Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which gymnasts perform individually or in groups on a floor with an apparatus: hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon and rope. The sport combines elements of gymnastics, dance and calisthenics; gymnasts must be strong, flexible, agile, dexterous and coordinated. Rhythmic gymnastics is governed by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), which first recognized it as a sport in 1963. At the international level, rhythmic gymnastics is a women-only sport.

Son Yeon Jae KTM is a retired South Korean individual rhythmic gymnast. She is a former member of the South Korean national gymnastics team, based in Taereung, Seoul. Son is the 2014 Asian Games All-around Champion, the 2010 Asian Games All-around bronze medalist, three-time Asian Championships All-around Champion. She is the first and only South Korean individual rhythmic gymnast to win a medal at the World Championships, FIG World Cup series, Universiade and the Asian Games.

She is the 2016 Olympic All-around champion, two-time World All-around silver medalist, the 2015 European Games All-around silver medalist, the 2016 European Championships All-around silver medalist, three-time Grand Prix Final All-around champion and a three-time (2011–2013) Russian National All-around champion.

Laura Yihan Zeng is an American former individual rhythmic gymnast. She represented the United States at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She swept all of the events at the 2015 Pan American Games and at the 2018 Pan American Championships. She is the 2014 Youth Olympic and 2019 Summer Universiade all-around bronze medalist and the 2019 Grand Prix Final hoop bronze medalist. She is an eight-time national all-around champion, six times at the senior level and twice at the junior level (2013–14).
Linoy Ashram is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic All-around Champion, the 2018 World All-around silver medalist, two-time World All-around bronze medalist, the 2020 European All-around champion, and the 2019 European Games All-around silver medalist. She is the third Israeli athlete and first Israeli woman to win an Olympic gold medal in any sport, and the first Israeli rhythmic gymnast to win an Olympic medal. Anastasiya Evgenievna Serdyukova is an Uzbekistani former individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the All-around bronze medalist at the 2014 Asian Games and the 2017 Asian Championships All-around gold medalist.

Alexandra Kiroi-Bogatyreva OLY(born 4 March 2002) is an Australian rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 Commonwealth Games clubs champion, team silver medallist, and all-around bronze medallist. She also won two bronze medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She is a four-time Australian all-around champion. She won five bronze medals at the 2022 Maccabiah Games and has competed at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships five times.
Malaysia competed at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 6 October to 18 October 2018. The chef-de-mission of the contingent was former two-time Olympian archer Cheng Chu Sian. Malaysia won its first gold medal at an Olympic event, having previously won silver and bronze medals.

She is the 2024 Olympic bronze medalist, 2022 World all-around, hoop, ball, ribbon and team champion, the 2023 World all-around, hoop and ball silver medalist, the 2023 European silver all-around medalist, and the 2024 European all-around silver medalist. She is the first Italian individual rhythmic gymnast to win a gold medal at the World Championships, European Championships and World Games, and she has won seven all-around gold medals in the FIG World Cup circuit. Daria Atamanov is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 European all-around Champion, and the 2023 World Championship all-around bronze medalist. She is also the 2022 European Championship silver medalist in hoop, clubs, ribbon, and the team bronze medalist. On a national level, she is the 2022 & 2024 Israeli National all-around champion and a two-time Israeli Junior National all-around champion. Atamanov represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the Women's rhythmic individual all-around and came in fifth in her first Olympics.
Darya Sorokina is an Azerbaijani individual and group rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 World 3 Ribbons + 2 Balls bronze medalist. She is the 2020 European group all-around silver medalist and the 2022 European group all-around bronze medalist. She represented Azerbaijan at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Takhmina Ikromova is an Uzbekistani rhythmic gymnast. She is an Asian Games champion individually and in the team event, and she is also a two-time all-around champion at the Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, in 2022 and 2023. She competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the rhythmic individual all-around.
Elzhana Taniyeva is a Kazakh rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2024 Asian all-around champion and will represent Kazakhstan at the 2024 Summer Olympics. She is the 2022 Asian Games all-around and team silver medalist. She won three medals at the 2021 Summer World University Games and four medals at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games. Taniyeva competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the rhythmic individual all-around.

Gemma Natasha Frizelle is a Welsh rhythmic gymnast, who won the individual hoop event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. She has won multiple medals at the Welsh and British Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, and also competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
