Story

While on vacation, art teacher Seema Rai met a charming stranger named Narayan Chowdhury. This pair builds friendship. When he returned home, he found that his apartment had been vandalized and was told that his stray uncle had been killed. He knew little about Kaka but he knew he was involved in diamond smuggling. The smuggler, whom he had once divided, began to follow the boundaries, believing that he had hidden part of the diamond. Narayan Chowdhury comes to town and Seema finds solace in his company. But can he be trusted or does he have a bad motive?

Bipasha is a 1962 Indian Bengali-language drama film starring Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen. and directed by Agradoot. The film is based on a novel titled Bipasha by Sri Tarashankar Bandyopadhay.The story fleetingly describes the horror of riots in West Pakistan during the time of Partition of India. Bipasa was described as a victim of that riot in the film. However, the film deviates from the original novel and avoids describing Bipasha as a gang rape victim by Pakistani Islamist rioters.

Pratikaar is a 1987 Indian Bengali-language vigilante action film written and directed by Prabhat Roy. Produced by Pranab Basu under the banner of Chandima Films, the film stars Victor Banerjee, Chiranjeet Chakraborty and Debashree Roy in lead roles, while Utpal Dutt, Madhabi Mukherjee, Satabdi Roy, Shakuntala Barua, Sukhen Das, Biplab Chatterjee, Chhaya Devi and Nimu Bhowmik play supporting roles. The screenplay and dialogues were also written by Prabhat Roy. The soundtrack album and background score was composed by Bappi Lahiri, with the lyrics penned by Gauriprasanna Mazumder. It plots the story of an intelligent student Shankar, who becomes a vigilante after the violent murder of his mother and brutal rape of his sister, by the local goons who kidnaps women and sell them outsides. When he starts avenging, DSP Rajib Chowdhury who is childhood friend of Shankar, comes on the board to investigate the murder mysteries done by Shankar.
