Konstantin Krause

Konstantin Krause (born 8 October 1967, in Bad Langensalza) is a retired German long jumper.

He won the silver medal at the 1992 European Indoor Championships. He represented the sports clubs TV Wattenscheid, TV Heppenheim and LG Ohra/Hörsel, and became German champion in 1998 and 1999. [1]

His personal best jump is 8.27 metres, achieved in June 1997 in Bad Langensalza. This ranks him fifth among German long jumpers, behind Lutz Dombrowski, Frank Paschek, Josef Schwarz and Henry Lauterbach and equal to Marco Delonge. [2]

Tom Patsalis was an American track and field athlete. He has set 26 World Records in his career, a career that was still active in his late 80s. As of 2014 he is the World Record holder in the M60 Long Jump, set in 1982 and thus a record he has held for more than three decades. As of 2014, only one jumper has come within .2 m. He is also the American record holder in the Long Jump for the M60 age division, has an as yet unrecognized mark that has been pending since 1977 still 7 inches superior to the listed American record and is the American record holder in the Triple Jump in the M60 and M65 age divisions. He was selected to the Masters division of the National Track and Field Hall of Fame in 2003.

Markus Rehm is a German Paralympic athlete. He began in sports at age 20 and became a long jump F44 world champion in 2011. His club is TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen and he is a medical specialist. Rehm is nicknamed "The Blade Jumper", as he is a long jumper with a blade-type leg prosthesis. Rehm's right leg was amputated below the knee after a wakeboarding accident. He uses a carbon-fibre bladed prosthesis, from which he jumps off.
