Konstantinos Englezakis (born 20 March 2001) is a Greek swimmer. [2] He has qualified to represent Greece at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the men's 800 metre freestyle event. [3]

She is widely regarded as the greatest female swimmer of all time and one of the greatest Olympians of all time.

Robert Christian Finke, better known as Bobby Finke, is an American competitive swimmer. He won two gold medals for the United States in the 2020 Summer Olympics: the men's 800-meter and 1500-meter freestyle swims. Finke successfully defended his title in 1500 m freestyle at the 2024 Summer Olympics, setting the world record and added a silver medal in the 800 m freestyle. He swam for the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida from 2018 to 2022 under Coach Anthony Nesty. He currently swims as part of the pro group at UF. Before swimming in college, Bobby swam for Coach Fred Lewis on the Saint Petersburg Aquatics club team, located in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Greece competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Greek athletes have competed in every Summer Olympic Games of the modern era, alongside Australia, France, Great Britain, and Switzerland. As the progenitor nation of the Olympic Games and in keeping with tradition, Greece entered first at the New National Stadium during the parade of nations at the opening ceremony. Lea Polonsky is an Israeli swimmer. At the 2017 European Youth Olympics she won silver medals in the 200m Medley and the mixed 4×100m Medley Relay. At the 2019 European Junior Swimming Championships she won a bronze medal in the 200 IM, and at the 2024 European Aquatics Championships she won a gold medal in the 4×200m freestyle relay, and the silver medal in the 200m medley. Summer Ann McIntosh is a Canadian competitive swimmer. She is a three-time Olympic champion, four-time World Aquatics champion, and two-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist. Noted for her strength in medley and butterfly events, she is the world record holder in the 400 metre individual medley, and also holds the Olympic and textile records in the 200 metre butterfly event, and the Olympic record in the 200 metre individual medley. Dimitrios Markos is a Greek swimmer. He is the current National Record holder in the 400m freestyle with a time of 03:47.77 and in the 800m freestyle with a time of 07:48.59.

Daniel Wiffen is an Irish swimmer. He is an Olympic champion and bronze medalist, two-time world champion and three-time European short course champion. In December 2024, he was named BBC Northern Ireland Sports Personality of the Year.

Matan Roditi is an Israeli Olympic marathon swimmer. His 4th place at the 2020 Summer Olympics is the closest Israel has come to an Olympic medal in swimming. He has set Israeli national records in the 800 metre freestyle and the 1500 metre freestyle, and the 10 kilometre marathon. He represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in swimming in the Men's marathon 10 kilometre, and came in 16th.

Greece competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, from 26 July to 11 August 2024, with a team of 101 athletes in 17 sports. Greek athletes have appeared in every Summer Olympic Games of the modern era, alongside Australia, France, Great Britain, and Switzerland. As the progenitor nation of the Olympic Games and in keeping with the tradition, Greece entered first at Place du Trocadéro during the parade of nations segment of the opening ceremony.
