Koop Islands is the third studio album by the Stockholm-based electronic music duo Koop. Compared to their last success Waltz for Koop , Koop Islands combines inspiration by 1930's swing with an exotic Caribbean touch. Collaborators include Yukimi Nagano (of Little Dragon), Ane Brun, Rob Gallagher, [2] and others. [3]
Some editions include a bonus track: "I See a Different You (Marcus Enochson Remix)"
The album was awarded a silver certification from the Independent Music Companies Association which indicated sales of at least 30,000 copies throughout Europe. [4]

Teddybears are a Swedish alternative rock band formed in 1991, known for mixing pop, rock, hip hop, electronica, reggae, punk, and many other genres.
"Medley: Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In " is a medley of two songs written for the 1967 musical Hair by James Rado and Gerome Ragni (lyrics), and Galt MacDermot (music), released as a single by American R&B group the 5th Dimension. The song spent six weeks at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 pop singles chart in the spring of 1969 and was eventually certified platinum in the US by the RIAA. Instrumental backing was written by Bill Holman and provided by session musicians commonly known as the Wrecking Crew. The actual recording was novel at the time, being recorded in two cities, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and being mixed down to a final version later.
Adam Freeland is an English record producer and DJ. He is also the owner and creative director of the record label Marine Parade, which has released material by artists including Evil Nine, ILS, Alex Metric and Jape. Born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England, he first began DJing in 1991, originally mixing deep house and later drum and bass. After becoming an in-demand DJ around Britain, he released his first mix album Coastal Breaks (1996) and formed the electronic music duo Tsunami One with Kevin Beber. From 1999 to 2001, Freeland hosted a show on Friday night on London's Kiss 100 FM. In 2000, he released his debut studio album, Now & Them.
Ane Brun is a Norwegian songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist of Sami origin. Since 2003, she has recorded ten albums, eight of which are studio albums of original material, an acoustic album, and a covers album; she has also released three live albums, two compilations, one live DVD, and four EPs. She has lived in Stockholm, Sweden, since 2001, where she writes, records, and runs her own label.
"Papa's Got a Brand New Bag" is a song written and recorded by James Brown. Released as a two-part single in 1965, it was Brown's first song to reach the Billboard Hot 100 Top Ten, peaking at number eight, and was a number-one R&B hit, topping the charts for eight weeks. It won Brown his first Grammy Award, for Best Rhythm & Blues Recording.

"Thank You for the Music" is a song by the Swedish pop group ABBA. It was originally featured on the group's fifth studio album, The Album (1977), and was released as a double-A sided single with "Eagle" in May 1978 in limited territories, namely Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and Australia. In South Africa where it peaked at number 2 in August 1978 and became the eighteenth best-selling single of that year.

Neveroddoreven is the second studio album by English electronic music duo I Monster. It was originally released on 21 July 2003 by Instant Karma sublabel Dharma Records during "a period of transition for the band's label". It was recorded in the home studio of band member Dean Honer. The title is a palindrome. "The Blue Wrath" was used in the 2004 British comedy Shaun of the Dead and appeared on the movie's soundtrack. The I Monster version of "Daydream in Blue" was used as theme music for the 2002 French action movie Steal and appeared in a television commercial for the Ford Focus ST in 2005. The song was also used in the 2016 episode "eps2.0_unm4sk-pt1.tc" in Season 2 of Mr. Robot. In his review of the album for Jockey Slut, Ben Mortimer said that it contained "playful, twisted pop tunes."
Changing of the Seasons is the fourth studio album by Norwegian singer-songwriter Ane Brun, released on 12 March 2008 in Norway and Sweden, 14 October 2008 in the US, and on 2 February 2009 in the UK. The album became her breakthrough record outside of Scandinavia when the bonus track "True Colors", a cover of the 1985 Cyndi Lauper song, was used in a television advertisement for Sky+ HD in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The other bonus track is a cover of Alphaville's 1984 hit single "Big in Japan", recorded as part of the soundtrack for the Swedish TV documentary programme Stor i Japan. The version of the album with the two bonus tracks was released in Europe on 7 December 2008 and in the UK in February 2009. The French release of the album on 12 October 2009 contained a third bonus track, a version in French of "Koop Island Blues", a song Brun originally recorded in 2006 with Swedish jazz group Koop.
Yukimi Eleanora Nagano is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She is the vocalist for the Swedish electronic group Little Dragon.
Little Dragon are a Swedish electronic music band from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 1996. The band consists of Yukimi Nagano, Erik Bodin (drums), Fredrik Wallin (bass) and Håkan Wirenstrand (keyboards).

Ritual Union is the third studio album by Swedish electronic music band Little Dragon. It was released on 25 July 2011 by Peacefrog Records. The album reached number 47 in the band's native Sweden, as well as number 28 on the UK Albums Chart and number 78 on the US Billboard 200. The album's second single, "Ritual Union", peaked at number 76 on the UK Singles Chart. Ritual Union received generally positive reviews from music critics.
It All Starts with One is the sixth studio album by Norwegian singer-songwriter Ane Brun, released in the UK on 24 October 2011 and in the US on 1 November 2011. The album was released as a standard single CD with ten tracks, or as a two-disc "deluxe edition" on both CD and vinyl, with an additional eight tracks on the second CD and five tracks on the second vinyl disc. The track "Worship" features guest vocals from José González.
