Krishnarao Jaisim is an architect and the former [ when? ] chairman of the Indian Institute of Architects, Karnataka Chapter. His work has been featured in The New York Times , The Hindu , The Times of India , The Deccan Herald , and on HGTV.
Jaisim attended Madras Christian College School (1960 batch). He completed his university education in architecture in 1966, from Madras University. From 1966 to 1970, he worked with the architectural firm of LM Chitale & Son, Madras. [1]
In 1970, inspired by Ayn Rand's novel, The Fountainhead , he started an architecture practice under the name "Jaisim-Fountainhead". The practice grew from 1970 to 1975, winning a National Competition for the Cochin Stadia, Presidents Nomination for the Small Industries Pavilion and the ‘TAJ Fisherman’s Cove’. From 1975 to 1980, the firm began working overseas, and ventured into other areas of building, such as the import and distribution of building materials, running scheduled contracts, and running a stone crusher and fabrication unit. In 1980 he returned to India and settled in Bangalore. [2]
Jaisim was married 1970 to Geeta (now President of University Women s Association). He has a daughter, Ashwini Jaisim.

Prior to taking this assignment he was with Indian Space Research Organisation and served as Director, ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC), Bangalore. During his 36 years of service in ISRO, he had some of the major contributions, including two of the major missions of ISRO, namely Chandrayaan-1 and Mangalyaan. Annadurai has been listed among 100 Global thinkers of 2014 and topped the innovators list. His works are mentioned in textbooks of Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education
Ashok Jhunjhunwala is an Indian academic and innovator. He received his B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and PhD from the University of Maine. He has been a faculty member at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras since 1981. He is currently holding the position of President of IIT Madras Research Park. During his career, he has contributed extensively to technology innovation and adoption in the Indian context.

Ravivarma Marthanda Varma was an Indian neurosurgeon, one of the pioneers of Indian neurosurgery and the founder director of the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS). He was the originator of a new surgical procedure for treating Parkinson's disease which later came to be known as Varma's Technique. He was a former Deputy Director General of Health Services, Government of India and an honorary surgeon to R. Venkataraman, former president of India. Ramadas Panemangalore Shenoy was an Indian defence scientist and writer, known for his contributions in the field of radar technology. The Government of India awarded him the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan, in 2006, for his contributions to society.
V. R. Panchamukhi, is an Indian Economist and Sanskrit scholar. He was born on September 17, 1936, in Dharwad, Karnataka. He is the eldest son of Vidyaratna Shri R. S. Panchamukhi, an archaeologist and indologist and Sanskrit Scholar.
