She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Electronic Media from the MOP Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai. [1] [3]

Career

Krithika's work in the Tamil film industry began with a playback singing credit for the song "Yedho Nadakuthu" in the film Parijatham. [3] She has since sung a few film numbers and also released various independent singles as a singer-songwriter, including the Think Indie original "Nee Mattum," which she also directed. [2]

She later debuted as a dubbing artist with the voice role for Pia Bajpaiee in Ko, which she auditioned for "just as a joke." Krithika joined Madras Talkies as an associate director to Mani Ratnam for the Ponniyin Selvan film series, where she was the script supervisor and also handled music and lyrics. [2] She penned the lyrics for the song ‘Sol,’ which was featured in the PS-I album. [2] She was later roped in as the lyricist for the Nitham Oru Vaanam soundtrack, of which she sang two numbers.
