Kulturhuset (The House of Culture) or Randers Kulturhus is a notable landmark building and cultural centre in Randers, Denmark.
Kulturhuset was designed by architect Flemming Lassen in the modernist style and built in 1964-1969. The name translates simply as "The House of Culture" and it holds a number of important public cultural institutions.
Randers Kulturhus actually comprise three adjoined buildings. The oldest is the former main building for Randers Tekniske Skole (Randers Technical School) from 1891, designed by J.P. Jensen Wærum. Another building was added in 1937, designed by I.P. Hjersing. But what now comprise Randers Kulturhus, was founded by the quadratic modernist concrete structure built in 1964-69 and designed by Flemming Lassen. Kulturhuset has three floors.
Above the main entrance hangs the metal sculpture known as Ringen (The Ring), made by Viera Callaro in 1997.
Kulturhuset holds a number of important public cultural institutions of which the most notable are the Randers Kunstmuseum (Randers Museum of Art), Kulturhistorisk Museum (Museum of Cultural History) and Randers Bibliotek (Randers Library). Randers Library consists of a main library in Kulturhuset, two local libraries within the municipality, one mobile library and a local library in Langå. Randers Library was the first Danish library to offer its guests mobile printing via Princh. The headquarters of the Museum Østjylland, focussing on various aspects of the regional local history is also situated in the building. This museum administers a few museum buildings in Randers and exhibitions in both Grenå and Ebeltoft.
In combination with the institutions, Kulturhuset also contains halls and scenes for meetings and events and rooms to be used by various associations. There is a dining café known as Kulturcaféen, in the building. [1]

The Black Diamond is a modern waterfront extension to the Royal Danish Library's old building on Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Its quasi-official nickname is a reference to its polished black granite cladding and irregular angles. Designed by Danish architects Schmidt Hammer Lassen, the Black Diamond was completed in 1999 as the first in a series of large-scale cultural buildings along Copenhagen's waterfront.
Søllerød Town Hall, now renamed Rudersdal Town Hall, was built for the former Søllerød Municipality which in 2007 became part of Rudersdal Municipality, combining Søllerød and Birkerød. The building is located in Holte some 19 km to the north of Copenhagen's city centre. Designed by Danish architects Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen, it was completed in 1942.
Flemming Lassen was a Modernist Danish architect and designer, working within the idiom of the International Style. Among his most notable buildings are libraries and cultural centres. He was the brother of Mogens Lassen, also an architect.
The Vennesla Library and Culture House is a public library serving the inhabitants of Vennesla Municipality in Agder, Norway. The new library building completed in 2011 has won several architecture prizes and has been praised both within Norway and abroad.
Randers Museum of Art is a Danish art museum in Randers in northeastern Jutland, Denmark. The museum is located in the cultural centre of Kulturhuset in the town centre and displays many of the major works of Danish painters, especially those of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The building was completed in 1902 and was listed by the Danish Heritage Agency in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places on 5 April 1988. The building is situated on the west side of Vester Allé close by Vester Allé Barracks and ARoS Aarhus Art Museum. The building has been home to some of the earliest cultural institutions in the city.
Dokk1 or Dokken is a government building, public library and culture center in Aarhus, Denmark. It is situated on Hack Kampmanns Plads in the city center by the waterfront next to the Custom House. Dokk1 is part of the much larger development project Urban Mediaspace Aarhus, jointly financed by Aarhus Municipality and Realdania for 2.1 billion DKK. It is designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects and Kristine Jensen, with construction managed by NCC AB. Construction broke ground 8 June 2011 and the building was inaugurated four years later on 20 June 2015.
The State and University Library in Aarhus, Denmark, is a national library and the university library of Aarhus University. It is a research library and the central repository for all Danish public libraries holding millions of items both in print and digital formats including sound and music recordings, videos, journals, books, patents, maps, prints and drawings. The library is directly subordinated the Danish Ministry of Culture and is a legal deposit library, receiving copies of all audio, video and newspapers produced in Denmark.
