Kuru Aravinthan is a Tamil author. He was born and studied in Sri Lanka and later moved to Canada. He is a regular contributor to Indian and Canadian Tamil language magazines, including Kungumam , Uthayan , Thai Veedu and Thural .

He has also written screenplays the films Sugam Sugame, Veli and Siva ranjani and a thriller novella titled Neer Mulki..Neeril Mulki. [1]

Neerparavai (transl. Seabird) is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Seenu Ramasamy and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. It stars Vishnu and Sunaina in the lead roles, and Nandita Das plays the older version of the latter's character. Saranya Ponvannan, Samuthirakani, Varsha Ashwathi, and Anupama Kumar play supporting roles. The music is composed by N. R. Raghunanthan with cinematography by Balasubramaniem and editing by Kasi Viswanathan. The film released on 30 November 2012 to positive reviews from critics and did well at the box-office.

Kaanal Neer (transl. Mirage) is a 1961 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by P. S. Ramakrishna Rao. The film stars A. Nageswara Rao and P. Bhanumathi in the lead. An adaptation of the novel Badi Didi by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, it was simultaneously filmed in Telugu as Batasari.

Harri Aravinthan is an English cricketer. He made his first-class debut on 28 February 2020, for Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club in the 2019–20 Premier League Tournament in Sri Lanka. Prior to his first-class debut, he has also played for Surrey 2nd XI in England.
