Kyaw Hsan (born 20 May 1948) is a former Brigadier-General and previously served as Minister of Cooperatives,Minister of Culture and Minister of Information of Myanmar. [3]
Kyaw Hsan was born on 20 May 1948 is Monywa,Sagaing Region. He attended high school in Pale. He applied to the Defense Services Academy (DSA) in 1964 but was rejected because he was too small. The next year he reapplied,this time successfully. After graduating in 1969,Kyaw Hsan served as battalion commander and then division commander under Vice Senior-General Maung Aye,a regional commander in Shan State. In 2001 Kyaw Hsan was appointed deputy Minister of Commerce. In September 2002 he was appointed Minister of Information. [3]
Kyaw Hsan had to resign from the military to run for office in 2010 on the ruling Union Solidarity and Development Party platform. He was elected an MP and became Minister of Information and Minister of Culture. A 2011 report in The Irrawaddy said he was one of the more powerful members of the government,and said he had used his control over the media to advance his career. [3]
The National Unity Party (NUP) is a political party in Myanmar (Burma). It is the successor to the Burma Socialist Programme Party (BSPP),which ruled the country from 1962 to 1988. The party's headquarters are in Bahan Township,Yangon.

Thein Sein is a Burmese politician and retired general in the Myanmar Army who served as the eighth President of Myanmar from 2011 to 2016. He previously served as Prime Minister from 2007 to 2010,and was considered by many in and outside Myanmar as a reformist leader in the post-junta government.
Myint Swe is a Burmese politician currently serving as Acting President of Myanmar as well as First Vice President. He previously served as the acting president after the resignation of President Htin Kyaw on 21 March 2018,and the chief minister of Yangon Region from 30 March 2011 to 30 March 2016. On 30 March 2016,he was sworn in as the vice president of Myanmar. He is an ethnic Mon ex-military officer in the Myanmar Army with the rank of a lieutenant general.
Khin Maung Toe was a Burmese singer songwriter,and was the longtime lead singer of the Medium Wave (မဇ္ဈိမလှိုင်း) band. He was one of the few successful Burmese singer-songwriters who wrote his own original songs. He released 35 albums in his career. He is best known for his 1984 hit "Maha Hsan Thu" (မဟာဆန်သူ).

Hsan Sint is a Burmese politician and former government minister and army general. He was appointed as Minister of Religious Affairs by President Thein Sein in January 2013. At the time,he was the speaker for the Ayeyarwady Region Hluttaw who concurrently serves as one of two Hluttaw members representing Yegyi Township.
Ko Par Gyi;born Aung Kyaw Naing (အောင်ကျော်နိုင်),was a freelance journalist in Myanmar (Burma). Aung Kyaw Naing disappeared on 30 September 2014 while covering fighting between a band of ethnic Karen rebels and the Myanmar Army near the Myanmar-Thailand border. He was taken into custody by an army infantry battalion in eastern Mon State near Kyaikmaraw Township. He was shot dead on 4 October 2014 and his body was buried at Shwewar Chaung,a village outside of Kyaikmaraw. His family was not notified of the burial and the military did not publicly acknowledge his death until 23 October 2014.
