Kändisdjungeln (English: The Celebrity Jungle) was the first and only season of the Swedish version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! . [2] The first of the 16 episodes was broadcast on 11 September 2009. The show's hosts were David Hellenius and Tilde de Paula. [3] The celebrities were sent to the Malaysian jungle for the show's run. [4] Sweden was the first Scandinavian country to broadcast its own version of the format. [5]

Björn Borg's wife Patricia Östfeldt-Borg withdrew from participating in the show prior to its launch, [7] and the final list of celebrities was described in Aftonbladet by one critic as unimpressive. [8] In terms of viewership the show was a flop, as whilst the first episode received viewership of 1.2 million, by the middle of the series viewership had already fallen to 322,000. [9] 62% of the readers of the newspaper Expressen voted the premiere of the show a "disaster". [10]

She has acted in several plays and films, playing roles including Esmeralda in the Academy Award-winning Fanny and Alexander. She has twice received the Guldmasken award for her work in theater.

Agneta Sjödin is a Swedish television presenter and personality of the Swedish television channel TV4. She presented the first two seasons of the popular show Let's Dance with David Hellenius.
Carolina Gynning Nilsson is a Swedish glamour model, author, pod caster, actress, jewelry designer and television presenter. She started her career as a model at age sixteen. She was a participant in the Swedish version of Big Brother in 2004 and emerged as the winner of that season. Gynning has since made a career as a television presenter on TV4 and Kanal5, and also as an artist and author of several books. Gynning has participated in several television shows after Big Brother such as I huvudet på Gynning and as a celebrity dancer in season one of Let's Dance.
Carina Lilly Berg is a Swedish comedian and television presenter. Berg grew up in Åkersberga, studied the aesthetics program at Danderyds gymnasium and then went on to study radio at Kaggeholms folkhögskola. She used to be married to and has a son with Kristian Luuk, whom she met in 2005 when they shared presenter duties for the TV4 show God natt, Sverige, Berg's television debut. Along with Christine Meltzer she won a Kristallen-award in 2015 for "Best female television presenter".

Anatilde Jane "Tilde" de Paula Eby is a Chilean-born Swedish journalist, author, television presenter and host of many of TV4s flagship programs. She has hosted many popular television shows such as the Nobel Prize, Polar Music Prize and live televised cancer fundraising events, and from 1997 until 2018 was one of the hosts of the popular Swedish breakfast programme Nyhetsmorgon.
Catarina Hurtig is a Swedish journalist and author and a participant in the first season of the TV show Kändisdjungeln (2009), Sweden's version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! That same year, Hurtig also attained notability when she was the first to break the news of Prince Carl Philip's separation from his then-girlfriend on her now-defunct blog "Ladylike."
