The former Province of Western Finland in Finland was divided into seven regions, 34 districts and 192 municipalities.
The 15 municipalities of the Ostrobothnia Region in Finland are divided into four sub-regions. Both their location and the dominant language imply these divisions; Kyrönmaa, for example, is Finnish-speaking, whereas the others have Swedish-speakers in the majority. Most places have both Swedish and Finnish names.

Finnish national road 8 runs along the western coast of Finland. The road starts at Turku, continues to Vaasa and ends in the intersection with Finnish national road 4 in Liminka, 25 km south of Oulu. It constitutes much of the length of European route E8. Cities along the road are Rauma, Pori, Kristinestad, Närpes, Vaasa, Nykarleby, Kokkola and Raahe. From Liminka, the road continues to the same direction to Oulu as road 4; road 4 to Liminka intersects it from the left.
Sanga-Sanga is an island in the southwestern Philippines, part of the Sulu Archipelago between the Sulu Sea and Celebes Sea. It is sandwiched between Tawitawi Island to the east and Bangao Island to the south.
Central Spine Road (CSR) or Kuala Krai–Kuala Pilah Highway, Federal Route 34, is a new toll-free highway under construction in the center of Peninsula Malaysia. The 325 km highway is built to eventually replace the former two-lane Federal Route 8 Gua Musang Highway and Federal Route 9 Karak–Tampin highway. Construction of CSR starts at Package 3 which is from Merapoh to Kampung Relong. It commences at Package 3 as the Gua Musang Highway passes through Chegar Perah which is prone to roadkill. The highway has a long eco-viaduct built in this section. Package 5 which is from north Raub to Karak will be built next, which will connect it to E8 Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway bypassing Bentong and Mempaga. This will help detour traffic from the steep mountainous grade between Raub and Bentong.
Petalax is a former municipality in Ostrobothnia. The municipality was incorporated in Malax municipality in 1973. Approximately 1,200 people live in Petalax and the main language is Swedish.
The 2014 Finnish Cup(Suomen Cup) is the 60th season of the Finnish Cup. 152 clubs entered the competition, including all sides on the top two levels of the Finnish football pyramid, 29 sides from Kakkonen and 101 from lower levels. The winner of the cup enters the qualifying rounds of the 2015–16 UEFA Europa League.
Naisten Ykkönen is the second highest division of women's football in Finland. The league was established in 1984 as "Naisten I divisioona", the current name has been used since 1996. It is composed of two sections with 8 teams in each. The four best teams of each group will play a promotion group and the winner is promoted to Naisten Liiga for the 2015 season.
Mamirli waterfall is located in the village of Lakit-Kotuklu in Gakh region, at the depth of a dense forest. This is a very rare waterfall. Water flowing through the rocks for hundreds of years, led to the germination of thick moss. The moss covered rocks, like with a green carpet. Trees grow so densely that sunlight never penetrates here, and therefore it is always cool here. Around the waterfall is a picnic paradise. Tourists arriving in Lakit-Kotuklu, necessarily visit these places.
