Justice L. Narasimha Reddy (born 1 August 1953) was the Chief Justice of Patna High Court and was the seniormost judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court. [1] He was recently appointed Chairman CAT and as the Chancellor of University of Hyderabad and the North-Eastern Hill University.
Narasimha Reddy was born in an agricultural family in Gavicharla village,Warangal,Telangana. He received his B.Sc. degree from C.K.M. College,Warangal,and went on to earn his bachelor's as well as master's degree in Law (International Law) from Osmania University,Hyderabad. [2]

The Telangana High Court is the High Court for the Indian state of Telangana. Founded by the 7th Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan,initially,it was set up as High Court of Hyderabad for the then Princely State of Hyderabad Deccan and later renamed High Court of Andhra Pradesh,as it was set up on 5 November 1956 under the States Reorganisation Act,1956. The Andhra Pradesh High Court was renamed as High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad in view of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state.

He is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party National Executive member,President for BJP's Hyderabad unit and a member of Bar Council of India.
