La Iguana Bridge (Spanish : Puente de la Iguana) is a pedestrian bridge in Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
The bridge was completed in 2012 and connects Cuauhtémoc Street in Gringo Gulch, Centro, to Isla Cuale in Zona Romántica. [1] The bridge was inspired by and named after the animal of the same name. [2] The metallic handrails are painted white. The main steps are made of concrete and sand and in the middle there are steps that emerge and that are covered with green and yellow tiles. [1]
Puerto Vallarta is a Mexican beach resort city on the Pacific Ocean's Bahía de Banderas in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Puerto Vallarta is the second largest urban agglomeration in the state after the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area. Hangares metro station is a Mexico City Metro station in Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City. It is an underground station with two side platforms, served by Line 5, between Terminal Aérea and Pantitlán stations. Hangares metro station serves the colonia of Federal, located next to the Mexico City International Airport. The station was opened on 19 December 1981, on the first day of the then Consulado–Pantitlán service. The pictogram for the station features a biplane inside a hangar and its name is on account of its proximity to the airport's hangars. In 2019, the station had an average daily ridership of 4,856 passengers, making it the 188th busiest station in the network and the twelfth busiest of the line.

Rain is a sculpture by Jovian, installed along Puerto Vallarta's Malecón, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The 3.5-metre (11 ft), tall statue weighs 650 kilograms and depicts "a young man who, with open arms and gaze to the sky, welcomes both residents and visitors alike". The sculpture has been valued at US$60,000 and was donated by the artist via Galería Corsica.
A bronze statue of Lázaro Cárdenas is installed in Puerto Vallarta's Lázaro Cárdenas Park, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. It was created by a group of students from the University of Michoacán and it was unveiled in 1970. As part of a municipal rehabilitation program, the statue was restored in 2020 and authorities decided to rotate it 180°.
Matamoros Lighthouse is a defunct lighthouse along Matamoros Street, in colonia Centro, Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. A beacon, the structure was built by Roberto Alcazar and inaugurated on August 15, 1932. It operated until June 1978, and upon retirement, was deemed a historic landmark.
The Fisherman is a sculpture of a bare-footed fisherman named Isidro by Mexican artist Ramiz Barquet. Two copies are installed in Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The sculpture has been described as "a leading visual symbol" of the city. The bronze sculpture in Centro was completed in 1996, and dedicated on January 12, 1996. Another statue is installed along the Malecón in Zona Romántica.
Los Muertos Pier is a pier along Playa de los Muertos in Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romántica, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Completed in 2013, the structure replaced an older wooden pier depicted in the 1964 film The Night of the Iguana. It offers views of the Bay of Banderas and features a central metal structure which resembles a ship's sail.
The Iglesia de la Santa Cruz is a parish church in Zona Romántica, Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. It is dedicated to the holy cross, whose feast is on 3 May with a celebration named Fiesta de las Cruces. The holy cross is also the patron saint of the masons, who go on pilgrimage to the church on that day. The construction started in 1954.
Plaza Hidalgo is an urban plaza in colonia 5 de Diciembre, in Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Neighboring the Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Refugio, the plaza is named after Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, leader of the Mexican War of Independence. Also, there is a statue that honors Hidalgo.
