Ladislav Olejník (8 May 1932 – 9 June 2022) was a Czech ice hockey player who also coached in Germany. [1] He played for ZSJ GZ Královo Pole and Rudá hvězda Brno from 1950 to 1967 and was a coach in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga from 1968 to 2005. [2]

The bombing of Wieluń is considered by many to be the first major act of World War II, and the September Campaign. After Luftwaffe air units moved into Polish airspace in the early morning of 1 September, they reached the town of Wieluń by 04:40–45 hours. The Swift Current Broncos are a junior ice hockey team in the Western Hockey League. Founded during 1967 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, the Broncos played seven seasons before relocating to Lethbridge from 1974 to 1986 as the Lethbridge Broncos. The team was formerly under the control of Indian Hockey Federation. India was the first non-European team to be a part of the International Hockey Federation. In 1928, the team won its first Olympic gold medal and until 1960, the Indian men's team remained unbeaten in the Olympics, winning six gold medals in a row. The team had a 30–0 winning streak during this time, from their first game in 1928 until the 1960 gold medal final which they lost. India also won the World Cup in 1975. Ladislav Horský was a Slovak ice hockey player and coach. As a coach, he helped lead HC Slovan Bratislava to their first Czechoslovak title in 1978–1979 and was inducted posthumously into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2004.
