Lady Pank is a popular Polish rock band, started in 1981 in Wrocław by Jan Borysewicz and Andrzej Mogielnicki. One of the most popular groups in history of Polish rock. Its first hit was Mała Lady Punk.
Turbo is a Polish heavy metal band. It was started in 1980 in Poznań by Henryk Tomczak. Turbo has been described as one of the most important bands in Polish heavy metal. Turbo's most famous album is Kawaleria Szatana, considered an opus of Polish heavy metal. The band is best known for the tracks "Dorosłe Dzieci", "Jaki był ten dzień", "Żołnierz fortuny" and "Wszystko będzie ok".
Upojenie is a 2002 collaboration between singer Anna Maria Jopek and guitarist Pat Metheny, recorded in Warsaw, Poland. It features Jopek's compositions and traditional folk song arrangements, as well as some of Metheny's well-known tracks, such as "Are You Going with Me?" and "Follow Me". Finally, there is "Polskie drogi" – a cover of a main theme for a film series of the same title by Andrzej Kurylewicz.
Klaus Mitffoch was a Polish rock group founded in 1979 in Wrocław by Lech Janerka, Krzysztof Pociecha and Kazimierz Sycz. Soon joined by Wiesław Mrozik and Marek Puchała, the band gained a large underground following. They recorded their first single Ogniowe Strzelby/Śmielej in 1983 and their debut album Klaus Mitffoch in 1984. It received several awards and is considered one of the most important albums in the history of Polish rock music.
